Congratz on your success with this, always knew that eventually this mod would get the attention it deserved eventually. I think with the recent release of RE3 remake and some fan finding themselves very intrigued with the prospect of a over the shoulder RE1 remake that now more people are definitely going to be interested in this mod since this while not official will definitely scratch that itch as a extremely solid mod that provides this.
I actually lost the version you sent me back in August 2018 since I had a different pc then and upgraded to a new one since then, wouldn't mind getting a chance to play your current version since the improvements look great, anyway keep up the great work and looking forward to more to come.

Thanks for the kind words. Of course none of this success was achieved alone. Yes I did most of the work, but I had help from really talented people like Infernal, Raz0r, Gantz, Flores, 3getu41, Son of Persia and most of all Albert (some others too). I would not have been able to pull any of this off without their knowledge and skills. I am still ironing out many things for the time being, but will keep you apprised of my progress, There is still lots of work to do! Happy Modding!

I never played original Resident Evil 1 nor the remake but looks like this mod will be the perfect opportunity to discover it. The work behind this projet looks huge so congrats to Mr. Curious for his investment. It's like a new game!

This isn't a full fledged remake it's a mod made for fun and for people who have played the original, not newcomers. You will not get the full RE1 experience by playing this, play the actual game first. I know it's not a 100% accurate remake of original RE, but it still give a new experience with new rooms and environnments with ambience from the first game. So, that's interesting for those like me that didn't play the original and aren't really interested in fixed camera gameplay. Maybe I will give it a try one day anyway.
