[Tutorial] edit RE5 HUD

Some might be asking how to combine HUD mods available here or how to create his own.
Prerequisite :
- RE5 Arc Tool (im using that one)
- A software like Photoshop
- A website to convert .dds and .png files (if your software don't support .dds files)
I'll Explain how to combine RE4 HUD (by verdugo7 ) and Pint-Sized HUD (by Triicell )
This is how I do so there is probably other methods maybe faster, but with this method im sure it works.
I°) First Download the files. You will get two files named "GameResource_x" (where x is the language for example "GameResource_e" for english)
II°) Renamed them to know wich one is it
III°) Open RE5 Arc Tool, Choose "Extract Arc(s)" and Select both .arc files. Choose where you want to extract them.
You will get two folders :
IV°) Open the folders and go to : PintSized HUD\id\jpn\cockpit / RE4 HUD\id\jpn\cockpit
Select this file : "cp02_360_NOMIP_BM.dds"
Copy and paste it on the desktop and rename one of them like before to know wich one it is.
V°) 1) If your software support .dds files and show transparency, go to part : VI°)
2) If your software don't support .dds files or don't show transparency, go to a website wich is able to convert .dds files into .png files. (I use that one )
convert the "cp02_360_NOMIP_BM.dds" file and the renamed one into .png files.
VI°) Open your software (like Photoshop, Gimp... I'll use Photoshop.)
1) Open the "cp02_360_NOMIP_BM.dds" file and the renamed one
2) Open both .png files
VII°) note all the differences between them.
In the Pintsized HUD THIS is different :
In the RE4 HUD THIS is different :
VIII°) So now let's combine them !
Let's put the only modification in RE4 HUD into the pintsized one :
You will get this :
1) Save it as "cp02_360_NOMIP_BM.dds"
2) Save it (name it as you want, it change nothing), go to the website, and convert it into .dds file name it as "cp02_360_NOMIP_BM.dds"
IX°) Now Put the "cp02_360_NOMIP_BM.dds" file in one of the folder x\id\jpn\cockpit (for example in Pintsized HUD or in a third folder of your backup)
Select "Repack Arc" on the RE5 Arc Tool. Choose the folder where you put the custom "cp02_360_NOMIP_BM.dds" file and then rename it as "GameResource_e.arc" (For english version)
X°) Put the "GameResource_e.arc" file here :
C:\Program Files (x86)\CAPCOM\RESIDENT EVIL 5\nativePC\Image\Archive
Or here :
C:\Program Files (x86)\CAPCOM\Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition\nativePC_MT\Image\Archive
Launch your game and you will have the pintsized-RE4 HUD mod !
