OK sorry to bother you again… But this time you're posting in the UHD section so I would love to understand how you accomplished this… Congratulations!

as I said before, in the old re4 the effects is between textures 34 and 50, but in RE4 UHD the textures are between 33 and 49 very simple, this is not very hard to find, I just had logic

Thanks for your reply Markos. simple yes, but unless you know what file then not so simple I see now that this mod modifies the 0000007.pack file by blanking out two textures: 0033.dds & 0039.dds This a tricky file to mod as there may be other effects that use these files. An example of this kind of destructive modding is Martin's shader fix which blanks out a texture file that is used by other effects in the game besides the film grain. There is a less destructive way of removing the film grain texture that is used by other effects, but this method requires HEX editing the EFF files for the room and finding the values 01 04 72 and replacing them with 01 04 72. Modding it this way ensures that the texture file remains intact for the other effects to use. I would be careful using this mod because there may be other effects that use these textures. I will ask Albert what he knows about this and let you know. Who knows, if its only the one effect that uses these textures it should be no harm done. Cheers!

I do not know if it can mess up, but these files are just from the eyes anyway just like old RE4.

Is this the core.dat altered? Did you use games graphic studio to get rid of the glowing eyes MarkosRC? If so please can you tell me which number images were altered?
Ohh crap I just realized this is for uhd, I meant the ubisoft re4 version.

ok the textures files that are altered in this mod actually affect some important bloom effects that are seen all throughout the game. I am going to be looking at modifying some of the eff files in the EMxx.udas to actually get rid of the effect instead of the texture that is used by the effect.. this way none of the bloom effects will be disrupted.. I will keep you posted when I find them !
Happy Modding!
