Maan....I wish. This isn't exactly a solution but it's something I've been experimenting with. I'm gonna retry this again with my friends with 4 Players Splitscreen Versus Mode when I get my new PC. If everything turns out great, I will make a tutorial video on how to do this.

Ooof running a screen recorder did not do that VM any favors I'm guessing. Looks like a pretty dirty way to get it working, but hey it works.

kind of like a "quick and dirty" or a quick work around rather than an inbuilt solution. It's also got much higher system requirements than an injected script or mod that allowed local splitscreen natively.

And not a lot of people care enough for splitscreen these days either so it's unrealistic to expect somebody to go the extra mile for something like this that's probably difficult or close to impossible. The specs requirements aren't actually too high....My PC just ain't all that, even for this game.

Could've done a similar thing with RE6 Survivors or RE5 Campaign.

Yeah if you have a Gaming PC that is at least decent or good for playing anything that is out right now then you should be able to pull it off. I'm one of the very few vessels in this world that exist with the mission and responsibility to bring back great multiplayer for everybody to enjoy and have fun with each other. I will have a better PC in about 1-2 months and then I will make a tutorial video if anything.
Here are a few more games I've played (including RE: Outbreak) without natural splitscreen that I've had an awesome time with:
Oh and you don't need VM for these
