Hello everyone, (I moved my original post here, I realised it was more appropriate to put it in the 'request' section rather than the 'work in progress' section, since I have some difficulties to handle the mod converting procedure properly, sorry, my bad) Being a big fan of Resident Evil 4, I found here on this site many mods to improve the beauty of this great game . Thanks a lot for all the modders and all their hard work by the way. It is much appreciated I have found a pack mod I would love to install. It is the Cybernetic Pack mod. I want especially Leon and Ada mods. The original files are available on the below link: residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/6659/cybernetic-armors-pack[original post: www.mundomodre4.com/t10432-cybernetic-gear-pack-by-satyr-leon-hunk-y-ada-recomendable] As you will realise it, the big problem is that the data are not compatible with the UHD steam version. I have looked for some ways to convert RE4 2007 mods to RE4 UHD mods here. I have found Son of Persia's work and I have tried to apply it to the Cybernetic Pack data. Unfortunately, since I am not a native English speaker - I am French - even after several hours and many translations, I did not manage to perform the conversion successfully . There are so many details that I am getting lost As a result, I have decided to edit this thread to know if someone here could convert the data, hopefully if this is possible. I am pretty sure this pack mod would interest many. Thanks in advance

Then I am reassured ^^. As a whole, I think I manage to do correctly the first part where we have to extract the RE4 2007 mod data. Then, I have difficulties when I arrive at the skeleton change procedure, I am totally lost with the offset references.

I am not sure what you mean by 'offset references' when dealing with the skeleton changer, but I will try to help.
Once you have converted the SMD model from the old PMD you then have to change the skeleton so ti can be used by RE4UHD. This part part is easy.
Simply place the SMD of the old RE4 2007 version in a folder with the new RE4UHD model (along with the Skeleton_Changer.bat file and the RE4_2007_UHD_Skeleton_Changer.exe) Once all teh files are in place, next we edit the bat file in a text editor to look like this:
RE4_2007_UHD_Skeleton_Changer.exe RE4_UHD_Model.smd RE4_2007_Model.smd replace the names of the models witht eh models you are using.. For example if you want to change the skeleton of pl08 in RE4 2007 to pl08 in RE4UHD put this command in Skeleton_Changer.bat :
RE4_2007_UHD_Skeleton_Changer.exe pl08_000.smd pl080a.smd
Once you save this .bat file and execute it a new file will emerge: RE4_2007_Model_changed.smd. This new changed model now has the RE4UHD skeleton and is ready to use in a 3d application like Milkshape, 3DsMax or Blender. HTe cahnaged file is the one you will be working with.
