i added two mods in the game coca cola mod (replace first aid spray with coca cola) and chris mod both mods didn't work the game runs like nothing happened
it looks like the game doesn't care about the mods i installed the mods step by step and it didn't work
there's no crashes but the game itself refuses to show the mods like nothing happened and it runs normal without the mods
and I'm sorry if my English is not perfect
I'm using the steam version
is it impossible to add mods into the steam version of the game ?

It is very possible to mod Steam VErsion. YOU just have not done the installs correctly. If you want help with the Coca Cola mod please message me on that thread the steps you took to install and we can go from there. Cheers =)

as you can see in this photo pasteboard.co/GJurYmb.png i replaced all files except the (screenshots) file because i don't know where to install it i didn't see this file in the original game file and when i start the game the title is fine and i can hear the soundtrack and it's perfect BUT when i start the gameplay it crashes immediately even with mercenaries and the normal game i can't start the gameplay is it because i didn't replace the (screenshots) file ? or maybe because i'm playing on 30 fps I have no idea why it crashes every time i start the gameplay

Screenshots are simply folders that show you what the game looks like and dont have anything to do with the mod install.
Instructions are:
"Copy "backup.bat" file from the mod archive in your BIO4\ folder. And run it. It creates a "BACKUPS" folder and MOVES all your 550 original files with subfolders from their location to created "BACKUPS" folder. It moves the UDAS ones if there are any, the DAT ones if there are any, the LFS ones if there are any, ETC.
After that you just need to copy and replace all the folders from the mod .rar file (Em, Etc, Evd, ImagePackHD, snd, SS, St1, St2) to your BIO4\ folder.
And if you want the add-on, then just run 2 bat files below in the add-on links section and copy & replace all the files from first add-on folder (the 900+ MB archive) and then from the second add-on archive (the small one), but before that make backups all the files you are replacing.
That's all".
Im not sure where this is going wrong though. It is important to run this 'backup.bat' file as it will remove the old files. If all the original files that the news ones are supposed to replace are not removed there will be crashes due to models not finding the right textures.
Also there seems to be some kind of issue playing this at 60 fps so playing at 30 should be fine. You might try 60 and see what happens, but I doubt this is why the game is crashing. Lets go over a checklist:
SO WE NEED MORE INFORMATION.. did you :
- set HD textures in Options menu?
- install add on 1 or 2?
- playing English version of the game?
- did you look up any of the files names from the package distribution that still have LFS extension?
