Sorrry, im confused what you want here. Are you trying to equip Leon with Hunk's actual TMP or do you simply want to replace Leon's TMP BIN model with that of Hunk to look like Hunk's?

Both kinda I want to use Hunks TMP with the look or even be able to swap models to be able to upgrade

According to Joker (as stated above) if you use trainer you cant upgrade. If you want to swap models then read Son of Persia's tutorials on model importer exporter.

find hunks main body model (proabaly 000bin-001tpl) and swap it with Leons 000bin-001tpl---main body.
Have you ever replaced a model file before?

Besides, you can upgrade it, but not at the merchant, using the trainer (surprise!) you can make it max level (for each upgrade), that's the only way to do it, for replacing models (at main game) you have to use tools as Mr.Curious said.
