Here's my first version of an enemy swap mod. It currently changes most enemies in the mansion only. I haven't gone too extravagant with the changes, a lot of them subtle but work well. I have kept many of the key enemies untouched so don't expect anything too drastic. It should affect all difficulty levels but have only tested it on normal. This is my first release and is really an experiment of what can and can't be done. I just thought seeing as no one else has shared their results it would be good to do so. I'm planning more in the future such as number of enemies and seeing what else is possible so wait and see. Any feedback would be appreciated and remember to back your game/files up before applying. Also apologies if your game does crash at any point, I have tested it without experiencing any serious problems. Enjoy! www.mediafire.com/file/feasc64i223w54m/Enemy_Swap_V1.zipP.S. Don't open the front door! P.P.S Ultimately I want to be able to item swap as well. I am looking into it and haven't made any progress other than having a theory on what file dictates item location and what the item numbers are. If anyone wants to help crack it with me we could open a WIP thread to discuss it. I would love the help as this would then realise the dream of actually being able to make a fully fledged arrange mode.

I will try it out! And believe me. I will open this front door. I will also see what I can do to find out some facts about items on map.

That was intentional, however I can fix it if you want me to. I was reluctant to change that enemy because anything other than a dog makes it look stupid. I want to keep the integrity of the game but then I thought seeing as it's still part experimental and an optional enemy I would have some fun with it.
The sound effect issue is a problem, I found that certain enemies in certain stages do not use their sounds and instead use the ones from the original enemy. This is also something I will look into more, I just wanted to get this out there for now and release improved mods in the future.
Thanks for playing and thanks also for the list. It does actually differ slightly from what I thought it was so this should help. If you're interested I will give you an update on my progress in the next few days.

As long as you have fun you can do it for me or our modding community. I am looking forward! In the meantime, can I ask how you obtained the list? Reason I ask is in case they are defined in a specific file then it's possible that could be edited.
