Okay, the new version of RE4 has another format for the files, and one of these formats is the .sfd. This format applies to the movies that are not rendered in real time (old .mpg crappy movies anyone? xD), and they are located in Resident Evil 4/BIO4/movie. Messing around with these files I found out that with Media Player Classic you can open them (if you don't have that program, use GOOGLE)
This folder contains the cutscenes for Separate Ways, the alternate ending for Assignment Ada (with Leon RPD and Ada in her RE2 dress) and some cutscenes for the main game (when you move the bridge or Verdugo slams the door in 4-1, for example).
Oh, and it seems that they are the old low-res movies again
P.S. Thanks to DarkSamus and nicefunfungirl for pointing that the main game always uses real-time cutscenes
Possibility that some of those "yes,MAIN GAME" cutscenes,May be from ada's side. As to she has some main game cutscenes mixed in with her campaign,Making her OWN files. So all main games are well, rendered using in-game graphics. its just that it has some ada sprinkled over. ;3
xD dark,We posted at the same time. And if you hadn't realized,Cutscenes aren't showing RPD outfit either. Because the REAL main-game cutscenes rendered in the game,Will show RPD and well,oh forget it,All,Apsolutely,ALL cutscenes in Main game are rendered with in-game graphics. and btw,EvilLord,If you catch this comment,Remember that PL00 to PL0B thing you did? Test it with some cutscenes,in this case we'lll know for sure.
i know that this is not the right place to post this...but someone else is having bugs problems???
i am on that part that leon is in the mine inside of that train i don´t know it name in english...but the ganados don´t jump inside. they just stand there!! and at the end when you have to press quickly the botton to not fall.. i falll anyway!! i just try all bottons on my joypad and nothing!!

Not the entire MAIN game uses real-time cut scenes sadly, I had found at least 2 occasions where the game switch to the prerendered ones: when Leon lowers the bridge before the confrontation with the Right Hand Boss and when the Right Hand Boss chases you on the sewer...
As for Ada's Separate Ways, the entire Campaign uses low res pre-rendered cut scenes took straight from the PS2 version and its a shame...

Yep, I mostly agree with this, same thing happens with modern games using biks instead of real time cutscenes because they want to avoid loading times, BUT the Ada's Campaign is inexcusable, I guess they deleted the animation files used after they recorded the prerendered scenes for the PS2 only parts...
Heck you can tell how lazy they were when you see the cutscene where Leon tries to strangle Ada, the cutscene occurs in both, the Main and Separate Ways Campaign, yet for some damn reason they opted for a crappy low res prerendered scene on the Ada's Campaign...
