Krauser skin for Leon "ONLY SKIN"

i usually don't play with skins but i use characters directly from mercenaries (example wesker, modded charaters over wesker etc)....the only bad thing is that you can only use the weapons they have in that particular mode.

The likely reason for this was, off the top of my head that Jack Krauser's special animations and the like within the main game frequently crashed it more than using Albert Wesker's within the main game.

Most people want full usage of characters within the main game, but the problem is certain ones will lead it to lock up much more frequently.

If you want the other ones in there, but are fine with using Leon/Ada/Ashley/Luis' animations (and audio) for your main four characters within the main story to play as then simple model swapping would generally suffice. That is, you would take the files from pl## to put into pl00 and the like for Leon. PL0b for Ada and so-on.

Like swapping Albert into the main game, but retaining the other things (in other words, not using Mercenaries Albert, just making Leon look like Albert) you'd get the assets (all models, textures) from pl0d and copy them into the pl00 and other relevant Leon folders you want him to replace for costumes or for the storyline. Then all you literally do is rename the pl0d files to pl00 or whatever is the name of the one you're using and it's done.

It's nothing particularly hard, nor does it require editing/rigging models generally. You'd just have to reference the big model list for 4 to know which character or enemy is which and which folder is the one you want to replace with the one you want.
