'Chroming Mod' V.1 - RE4UHD
Hello Modders & Fans. I am happy to announce my latest Resident Evil 4 UHD mod which will work with any model, as this is a texture-based mod that makes the surface of the Leon character look metallic or as I have called it 'Chrome'. This mod works best with models that have less detailed skins, most notably those without much clothing on! The mod does not apply on the model while in the inventory menu, as it is a texture that is applied by the game engine in-game only. For the examples in the videos & photos I used 3getu841's adorable Ashely Bikini Model.
While this might seem like a straight ahead install there are some things to consider. Since this mod uses the 07000000.pack file, this means the button symbols, and film grain effect layers are included this file. While creating this mod I was working off of my current 0700000 folder which already contained the Film grain fix by marcelo20xx, so installing this file will also remove the film grain effect seen throughout many parts in the game (a great fix if you ask me)! This pack file also contains the Martins shader fix 1.06 which cause the effects of bump maps and specular highlights to be displayed more accurately in game. These files also contain select button mods (only the 07000000.pack) made by DarkSamus, which are available in 2 different versions.

If anyone wants one of the available mods with a specific button layout that is not included in my downloads, please feel free to ask me and I will make you one however you will need to let me know which one of Dark Samus's mod packs you are using. It's a fairly easy thing to doso I can do it, or teach anyone if they want to mess around with it themselves.
INSTRUCTIONS:
The mod comes in 8 different varieties to chose from:
Original Chrome, Chrome Light, Blue, Green Hulk, Light Pink, Neon Pink, Purple, and Red/Blue.
Make sure you backup any files you replace in case you wish to revert back to normal mode. This file is a pack file with .y2z extension, so you will have to delete or rename any files that are named 07000000 in the ImagePack or ImagePackHD folders including:
07000000.pack.yz2.lfs
07000000.pack.lfs
07000000.pack
You can rename any of these files by adding .bak extension to the end of the file name before you add the new file.
Place the new file in ImagePack or ImagePackHD folder of your BIO4 installation.
