Post RE7 spoilers in here...

Yea I think a lot of people underestimate just how much Chris absolutely hates Umbrella, there is no way given what we have saw in his character through all these years that suggests he would even consider let alone join any iteration of Umbrella period, the symbol online would probably be enough to just piss him off lol.

Umbrella and its logo and what it stand for just goes against everything Chris believes deep within his core values, if this guy is in fact Chris he either,

a.Become brainwashed during the events of Vendetta

b.Is kidnapped and cloned during the events of Umbrella

c. Had something horrific happen to him to cause him to lose his memory in Vendetta and somehow he ended up joining Umbrella

So In short my guess would be such developments will be revealed within the movie Vendetta, but I could be wrong.

And even if its one of those the presentation better be freaken good otherwise I'm going to call BS.

So i watched a complete Stream on its launch day, and this was one of my absolut worst and the most boring gaming experience of my whole life.


Normally if a game bores me i would just stop playing or watching it, but because it is a Resident Evil i forced myself through the complete game in one stream.

It was so awfull and boring, the only good thing is that i worked the most part of it on my laptop, so it was not a complete waste of time, but the last 3 hours of the stream i was done working......... it was so horrible, i was just waiting and praying for it to finally end.

I will never make this mistake again and force myself through such an obvious lame experience.


There are some parts of the game that are okay, like parts of the beginning, the parts with Jack, the boss fight with Marguerite and the cutscene where you have to decide between Mia or Zoe, but everything else was just bad and boring.

-the basement with dozens of the same tedious 3 Molden enemy-types.
-The boring insect stuff before Marguerite.
-the whole super lame part with Lucas + his Birthday Party.
-Everything after you decide for Mia or Zoe.

........................

After choosing Mia or Zoe, i hoped that the game will end in the next couple of minutes, but it doesn`t, one more boring environment after another.

And this ship, this SHIP!!! i hated every minute of it, just watching it felt like work.

I just wanted to see the ending and wanted to know how this game wants to tie in with the story and hoped for a good explaintation.

And everyone is talking about how scary this game is, i tell you what, it is not. I cant understand how somebody can get scared from Movies or Videogames. Fear is the first level of panick and panick means your mind cant handle the situation, so if you get scared by things like this, it just shows that you are a mentally weak person. Kids get scared because they dont know much, have often little self confidence and are not that smart compared to their future selfs. But adults who get scared by this, really, really?................

I cant understand how anyone above 12 can find this game scary or good, it is totally lame. and the whole ship part of the game is the most boring "Level" in a Video Game i have ever seen.

This game is not a soft Reboot, it is a total Reeboot, the whole story is 0 percent believable for the resident evil universe. Capcom just dont have the balls to say it out loud.

Resident Evils lore was always Science Fiction, sure they made some really stupid things like walking plants and Simmons who can create mass from nothing, what is impossible, but the lore of RE 7 is just outright magic, that has nothing to do with science.

I will ignore this game and everything that follows this total Reboot magic canon. I am done with future RE Games.

The RE 2 Remake will be crap too, they dont care for the lore. Claire and Leon will just have new faces from total random people, and i dont expect anything good from the gameplay or design anymore.

Maybe a Revelations 3, but spare me with a Resi 8+, when Leon or whatever has to fight Magic Zombies who gets cast from nothing, and phonix downs as healing items


Im still happy with all the awesome Resident Evil Games i have and i will play them for my whole life, but this stuff can go and tell aunt rhody.

Yes, I think we will finally see Jill Sandwich.

Chris couldn't save Jill and got insane. Then he ate the sandwich and got more insane.

First, his boyfriend and dog Piers died. Then he ate Jill Sandwich (Which will be show in Vendatta probably). So he probably tried to flirt with Rebecca, but from the looks of RE Vendatta trailer, it looks like Rebecca, like any other gorl, turned on with Leon. So chris joins Umbrella secretly and gets her capturd and turns her into a mutated turd.


So Chris joining Umbrella is very possible. So many things possible.
Maybe Jill ditched Chris after he fell in love with Piers. Now Chris, drunk and high, lost is cause.


Edit: For those who sayin this game gas returned to its roots; This game looks just like Resident Evil 4.

Well, almost. Just in FPS cam and less enemies.


I mean how having actions and explosions in a game makes it NOT a survival horror?

There can be explosions judt for the sake of the story. RE4 felt very much like survival horror and the action part in the game was necessary just for the sake of Not being monotonous.

Heck, I had to conserve my ammo even though bitches dropped ammo every now and then.. because you couldn't abuse the bullets. Doing that would leave you only with A Knife very fast.


People say we don't need Zombies. RE is about BOWs and thus black goo molfs are fine. So whats the hate with Ganados? They were BOWs too.

And bringing back boxs is a feature? That is just lol. It doesnt even make sense. Want true survival horror? Make a game where your sotred items in one box won't magically appear on other boxes for fcuks sake.


People also hated Deap Space 3 because there were some COD shooting parts. But TBH, those parts wasn't even 1/4 th of the game and was there just for the sake of story again. You could roll in Dead Space 3. Well, if you hate rolling that nuch, how about Not press the roll button and play the game like older DS games?

I played DS3 before DS2 and 1. And I say it was scary too. Everyone played DS1 and 2 first, thats why they dont get scared by DS3 much. They got used to it. For me it was the opposite, DS2 felt least scary since I already got used to DS3s scares.

So yeah, RE7=RE4 in FPS mode.

Thus the dlc - Not a hero. He's a spy now. And with some facial treatments, umbrella soldiers cant rec9gnize him
