I was looking at some Skins for Piers, that I would like to mod into my RE6, however, I want to continue playing the game with my friend. Does anyone have any experience with this? Will I still be able to play with them? Will they be able to see my modded skin? I'm new to modding RE6, and any Help is appreciated. I would test with them, but that seems like a lot of work, and I dont wanna put in the effort of modding, if I can no longer play with them. Thanks!

As far as most games go unless your friend has the same files(mod) on his comp then no he will not see your mods. I haven't tested this for sure but that is just how it works. As for actually testing it it would be rather easy actually. Pick out a mod from the RE 6 modding board and install it (which is really just drag and drop on the game folder, just make sure to BACK UP anything you are gonna put into the game folder). start the game and connect with your friend then see what happens on his end. Have him download the same mod so that you can try with him having the mod installed and without. If unsure test your mod by yourself in mercenaries to make sure it works and how it looks. If you are gonna start using RE mods from this board you should really take a look at this: mod manager it will install and backup and uninstall mods with one click of a button. It doesn't get any easier and you would regret ignoring it.
