Nintendo Switch is... well you guessing it! Nintendo's new Hybrid? console? im not sure. It releases in march 2017 and uses cartridges. thats really all we know so far.

Youtube is full of positive (paid maybe) talk of this console but I want to see games. Games Nintendo not your bullshit.
Have lost interest after the gamecube as that had very little in great games & the wii was/is a joke.
How many of you ever do portable gaming outside anyway? I've never seen anyone do this. Do these corporate fucks
expect children to walk around outdoors playing on a console worth hundreds of pounds?

I was a teenager during the PSP era and I can safely say that there was a demand for portable gaming consoles back in the day. Since capable smartphones became more popular than ever and are pretty much a standard in the Western world, I don't think there's a big market for these portable consoles anymore, and it turned into a niche market. I see no reason for anybody to purchase a portable console unless they have a specific game they want to play... you buy a tiny console with a small screen for a load of money only to play a crappy Resident Evil Revelations game that has no replay value whatsoever. DarkSamus time to step up your game and refuse their demands brother. Save that money for something that's actually decent.

I guess we just have to wait until more details are revealed... But in my opinion, rushing to the shop right after console's release is not a very good idea Despite not feeling like buying this new gaming "device" I'd honestly wait for new games to be confirmed since there are not much of them at the moment: another 3D Mario game (obviously) another Mario Kart (obviously) another Super Smash Bros game(obviously) Splatoon Legend of Zelda:Breath of the Wild Just Dance 2017 Dragon Quest Project Sonic 2017 The Elder Scrolls:Skyrim(can be seen in the trailer but wasn't confirmed by Bethesda) And as Timm stated above, expecting a good Metroid game on Switch can be doubted since only MP-shooting and pinball spin-offs were released in the past 6 years PS. I don't expect anything but for it to free the PC for me from the kids  Any games I get to enjoy out of it will happen when/if they are released.

Looks to me like an unnecessary effort to be "innovative". Anyway I understand the need to occupy your kids, but I don't think the few minutes of excitement and intrigue are worth it.
