Hi everyone, I've been using several mods through different parts of the campaign that I usually only use in Mercenaries and have noticed that many do not work in cutscenes and some not in the campaign at all. I think I have figured how to make default costumes work throughout the campaign by swapping the upltex_0 over all the other upltex (if they wasn't included in the mod). This will atleast make mods over a default costume work in game but if I use Wisonsos model swap trainer, to play with a mod over an EX. costume sometimes those wont work in campgin either IIRC. Is there anything anyone knows about that I need to do to make all costumes/mods work through the campaign. Also what I am very curious about, what is it that needs to be done or what files need to be included to make a mod work in cutscenes. Even if just the default ones.

I think every cutscene .arc has it's own model, texture and shader files. I might be wrong though. I remember deleting them from the .arc, repacking it and copying the model to NativePC. RE5 also had the same weird system. It's been too long since I played it, so don't take my word for it.

The body and Game-head of Mercenaries can be used in custence, but the head/face mod in cutscenes, which is named AChead.arc ,has their own mod(face, eyes and hair) and couldn't be swaped with Game-head mod.If you want to modify custence, you may not leave 3ds max

Or can you mod over a mercenary costume and still have it work in the cutscenes. I understand that they have different head models for the cutscenes but I am not really woried about the lips moving or anything like that. Right now what happens is if I use a mod, during the cutscene their body textures will not show up and instead it will be that diamond texture you see when textures dont load. I am going to test it again but I thought when I used Wilonsos model swap trainer to swap a mercenaries costume in the campaign it would not work and I am wondering why.
