Yes. Just keep in mind that textures are tied to material. If you want to use a specific material, but not the texture tied to it, you'll need to edit the MRL or just replace the texture itself. how to edit the mrl?

So I was using this to import a .mod from Dragon's Dogma, and for over 10 minutes, it won't respond... any ideas? I'm using 3ds max 2013 64bit

I'm also new to this and I tried importing jill bsaa from re5 and ada wong from re6 and when i import the model i get weird errors like unable to convert undefined to type: integer and i have no idea why. I am also using 3ds max 2016

Hi lonmmim, how you can download what? What do you don't understand or search? The script to run is there: www.tzarsectus.com/RE6/tools/RER%20&%20RE6%20(unoffical)-v0-21.msClicking on it will ask you to download it, tic the box saying you want to save it, and then move it from your download folder to your Program file/Autodesk/3ds Max 2012/Scripts folder, then when you will want to import a .mod file, click the Script button in the top bar of 3dsmax and click "Run script" then click the RER&RE6(...)-v0-21.ms and you'll have it running.

It doesn't work for the 2017 version, does it? All i can see is hair and wireframes, nothing else.

Nope sadly this scripts dont fully work with new versions of max studio (max 2015 , max 2016, max 2017 and 2018) works better over max 2012. Some one will need to update the scripts for support new versions of max.

Sorry to bump the topic, but it's for a good reason. Now i have 3ds 2014, and the script runs perfectly, but there's something i need to know: how do i export a modified mod to the original one? If i delete something and try to export, or i get an invalid command or all the pixels explode. Can somebody give me a hint, please? Thanks.

Download link: www.tzarsectus.com/RE6/tools/RER%20&%20RE6%20(unoffical)-v0-21.msThere was a mistake with the material ID (it was treated like a byte, when it should be treated as a short), so now it'll show the proper ID when importing a model into 3DS Max and you can change it. Materials define which shaders and texture are used with a mesh. como instalo ese script

I have seen a "version 0.3" in one of DarknessValtier's videos. What exactly is the script and the version of 3DS Max we're supposed to be using today to mod Resident Evil 6???
