I, never in my life, purchased a DLC. DLC sucks ass, period. I only consider and rate a game based on the real game. but some dlc tell you about the story of the base game like the evil within or the last of us. Some dlc are goods

What I dislike are not the DLC themselves, story chapters, new maps, new characters, new costumes, extra modes, that looks to be nice.
What I dislike is that the main game only have the main story with a lenght of some 9 hours (less when one replay them knowing the puzzles location and bosses strategies), and with the main game lacking of content, they keep leaving the addons with a payment barrier. With some
Free to play games I can digest that, but here the game is being sold as the expensive games, (for a game that hasn't got the half of content that a modern AAA game has) and over that, the season pass is also quite expensive. I can't avoid to feel that Capcom thinks we are fools.
Better don't think on DLCs >.<

According the review of the people, they are managing to finish it between 9 - 11 hours; watching videos and streams is a bit odd because I'm jumping here and there, but then, I see that a lot of times players are stucked in boss battles (20 minutes dying and repeating the same battle because they don't know what to do or what are the weak point, or because are just doing the clown, screaming here and there...) other times are stucked just walking around and testing without know what to do (so maybe they spend 40 minutes in the Latern cabin, but onces someone know the path and where the things are located, that should be done much faster without need to be in hursh). When a full walkthrough video without disruptions were released (and not banned), it will be better seized, but right now, the 9-10 hours looks the media. Over that, there are different difficulties and some extras can be unlocked, apart of the alternative ending what could deserve a second replay.

But thats not my point. My point is, I don't like paid dlcs. I am like, buying the base game and be done with it. I watch those DLC story(s) in YouTube. Edit: But hey, I'm not a very sane person. So my opinions might sound crazy.

Yeah, I assume there is more replay value this time compared to RE6.

By the way the mod that i hate it was bald chris This doesn't really have anything to do with RE7, That said, I'm complimented that you "hate" my mod, it reaffirms how rigid the ideals that we impose on fictional characters really are. It is simply a mod and people are free to make mods of whatever they choose.

Because CAPCOM would never say "we never imagined RE6 would flop as hard as it did so we went back and made the most trendy game we could to attract the casual gamers"
