I have to be quite honest here, having seen it all.... I'm still not impressed and bored out of my mind.
I know other people will likely feel otherwise but that's just my opinion on it without going into it.

^ It goes into pre-rendered footage at some point, so I don't know and likely only when the retail PC version hits.
Plot still makes pretty much no sense to me and the only thing I'm seeing in my region is cash grab merch like mugs, cups, keyring/keychains, wallets with the game logo on them or a little bit of bloody details.

No way. Pre rendered? Damn. This is 2017, how can they get away with pre rendering cutscenes at this point.
I thought it was bad enough for REV 1 and 2 and figured it was a budget issue.

Overseer thank you for breaking it down for us.  I am glad I read these spoilers, in all honesty it just secures my line of thought that this game was their way to cash in on early 2010s gaming trends. Weak story, weak setting, weak gameplay. I am glad I am poor right now. They don't deserve my nonexistent money.

Can confirm the cashgrab bullshit: Went into my local store to cancel the pre-order and there was an entire rack (Usually devoted to PSV and 3DS games) for RE7 merch.
On the upside, Nier Automata will be in my grubby little hands on release! And so will KH2.8. God bless longterm customer discounts.

I don't know why, but at his point I think I can't surprise by RE7 anymore...
Anyway, about my superChris issue, turning him into an enemy goon could bring some dramatic posibilities to the story. But I just can't take RE7 seriously =_=, I'll wait for RE Vendetta and I'll follow the Chris's progression from there.

I find this whole situation with Chris ridiculous actually. If Capcom had any shred of integrity with their previous games, people would be either: 1). aha, so here is an Umbrella Corps mercenaries pretending to be Chris, either 2). OMG, Chris now works for Umbrella Corps, what does it all means?!?! Yet because Capcom has no integrity considering character designs (see Revelations Jill, Revelations 2 Claire and Barry etc.), it is actually literally impossible to decode what this whole RE7 ending Redfield appearance is all about, making the whole RE7 ending Redfield appearance absolutely meaningless and confusing.
Good job at worldbuilding, Capcom!

And if you guys wanted to see what I was talking about with a chunk of the footage, someone reuploaded some of it - www.reddit.com/r/residentevil/comments/5o9zyy/spoiler_yesterdays_gamepl%D0%B0y_beginning_of_the_game/dchre8d/I have no idea what they were thinking with it, but yeah the only thing that makes sense would be trying to soil his name and implicate involvement in things should info get out and about in the universe with the relation to the whole Umbrella Corps mercenaries and other crap. Don't know, there's 100% already DLC on the way and that stuff is mentioned even back in the trial edition/demo as I pointed out that there was one at least called Nightmare which ended up being confirmed in the season pass "Banned Footage" DLC on Steam. I'm just glad I kept to my general feeling and didn't waste my time or money on pre-ordering this, especially with Australian prices being how they are for this sort of thing too.

Thanks for the infos. Now it's confirmed that this game is utter bullshit.
About the Charact at the ending. After RE6 it could be a clone or what ever. If they really made him join Umbrella after everything he is been through than they have really no idea what fans want.
Also if he is a clone than a bad one XD
but i'm not suprised they once again fucked up the face.
What suprise me the most that Umbrella corps now is canon. oO
Not good...
But the master question is: Are there classic zombies in this game?
