i was thinking that by having a 3rd person camera there was an other way for more sale and earning more money for capcom but i guess they didn't consider about this part! perhaps they had forgotten about action figures! (maybe because their only worries was preventing of more modding by fans, so they had forgotten about this one)  now I am curious that what they wanna sale as an action figure!? lynch?!   or just two arms! good lock!! capcom I think this answers everything. v-jolt.tumblr.com/image/154102993332 i call this: " poor performance indeed!" and to quote myself: DLC hands all the way XD ... i don't think it will be a failure, even when i kinda wish for.
There are way to many Twitch streamers and Youtube let's player that will hype that game without knowing a single shit about the series. And they will love it.
But still 4m is very optimistic...
The game itself is not that bad i think... it's just NO Resident Evil.
I would consider buying it if it at least had third person or fixed camera. But this first person bullshit? No thanks.
They should have made it a new franchis and everything would be good. But of cours that would not serve the marketing...
I also don't think the Kitchen Demo was intended as Residnet Evil, but Sony did pay them to make it a "Resident Evil" just for the sake of pushing Sony VR.
Why else would it be one year Sony VR exclusiv?
i just hope they don't fuck up the Resident Evil 2 remake...

I kinda hope the franchise does die. Having been in the fanbase since like 1997 I'm pretty much waiting for it to be put to rest.

The game is in no way a bad game. It's actually a pretty good survival horror game which has A lot going for it. It's just not a very good resident evil game.
The game will sell atleast 4M pretty quickly. Maybe not day 1 but it will in no way be a failure when it comes to sales.
Especially since it's a first person horror game with Native VR Support. Which youtubers and streamers will eat up.
