60$ for a game like gta v (just as an example) is acceptable for me
because it has a lot of values (as an enjoyable game)
driving - racing - fighting - customizing and...
and also it's open world , including daylight and night (a really really big world and not just some ridiculous dark rooms)
you can switch between cameras and even different characters in different places! and not just a fps camera for an unknown invisible character (they did respect to their fans wishes so they added a fps)
you can fight or run it's up to you
you can walk or run, dive and swim, take off and flight
you have animals , sea , sky , homes , streets , highways , so many cars and...
also lot of mini games which those are really enjoyable and even each one of those mini games are more enjoyable than whole of a game like... ( what was its name?) and also one million fans in the world are trying to made modes for it therefore it's enjoyable enough for playing more than 500 hours
so now i wanna ask:
what do you give me capcom for 60$
a shotgun! which it's not even useful most of times! and just two ridiculous hands? (which those are not even a full hand!)
we fight with chief mendez krauser and sadler we killed the wesker and the nemesis, one of the most scarier enemies in history of video games
and now you forced us and we have to just run and escaping of an old lady?! from this small dark room to that smaller darker one!
really capcom?!! seriously capcom?! are you kidding me capcom?
this kind of jokes! are acceptable for me just as an indie game for 6$ at last
but i'm not giving it even 6$ because i'm destroying my favorite franchise with my own hands if i give them even a cent

I think comparing RE7 to GTAV is... well, not a good idea. Two different genres and franchises.
A better comparison would be RE6 on launch vs. RE7. Both were £40 on launch here.
RE6 got you three campaigns with two playable characters + a bonus campaign with one playable character. Also while you could argue that most campaigns felt the same, they at least TRIED to give a different experience, and they were long enough that they were a good time waster. Oh, and it came with Mercenaries and co-op as well, the latter being technically endless replay-ability if you like walking friends through the game.
RE7 looks to offer... one campaign. Of ambiguous length. Will it have co-op, MP? Steam says no. RE7 also has a season pass, which is never a good sign. So basically you're getting a single campaign with some collectables (yay.), which means limited replay value.
I get that some people prefer the sp00ky youtube let's player games over RE6, but still, price:content ratio seems awful here.

The pre-purchases are taking a turning into a constant in the videogames market. Selling them, allows developers and publishersto justify the game sales and popularity to the retailers so in that way, these ones order more units and the companies gets more money. That's why they try to make the pre-purchases more appealing with bonuses and such.
About the 40 pounds, (45€, 49$) is something that I could normally go on. What I dislike is the situation of offering only an incompleted version, because the other 10 hours are only for those ones that pays other 25 pounds more.
Are these extension a real expansion, or are scrapped content sold apart? In my opinion, a DLC worth like that when the base game feels already big and complete by its own, without the DLC's exensions.
- RE6 DLC are awful scrapped content, (well, we already know that the multiplayer modes was a problem of development and they couldn't be "on time" for the game release) but the extra map haven't got justification. It is ok if they want to sell extra maps, but when the base game only have 3, that's very few, just to sell other 7 maps. That's the kind of scrapped content DLC.
- However on the other hand, there is RE: Revelations 1, which has got weapons and 2 extra characters as DLC, the base game already have a lot of weapons and characters to enjoy the raid mode. So those DLC's are not something indispensable to can enjoy the game properly, however if some players like it, they can extend the content, that's what I consider a good DLC.
What will we have in RE7? a game of 8-13 hours and other 10 hours in the extra content, (which already has been in development so I wouldn't be surprise if there were content already in-disk) To me, that's looks like more scrapped content than proper DLC.

I hate DlCs too. I want a complete game on purchase, not a half shit game.
Fps game is a crap game, cause you can only shoot and do simple melee attacks in such game. Ao no more RE6 kicking punching anymore, people are finally getting a survival horror game.
Its worse than fixed cam. I hate fix cam, but I rather play with fixed cam than fps cause atleast I can see the one I'm controlling and enjoy the graphics.
Edit: wmAtleast this gane will be better than:
Assasins Creed series Batman Arkham Series Mad Max
^Those games have worst combat system I've ever seen. Sucks to just mash one button to beat everything on sight.

Except AC, Arkham and Mad Max never did do the one button thing (Except perhaps AC1-2), since all games introduced enemies that would brutalize you for trying to play complacently.

so that means the Grotesque Version has just another hand model or what? (besides some more splatter effects maybe) oh wow, now i got it, maybe the 30€ season pass will have custom hands of old iconic Resident Evil Heroes. Wouldn't that be amazing Who wouldn't like to play as Chris's hands that are able to punch every bolder. Or Wesker's hands that can crush and impale anything. Or sexy Ada Wong hands. Anyone? XD or hey, instead of costums, you now maybe unlock (or they offer as DLC) some nice, fanc gloves XD" sorry... but cool and funny costums were always a part of the Resident Evil games (not that much in 6, but it was there at least in mercenaries). But now, with this game they just throw away so much that just was essential of the series... it feels sad. and also no modding potential... ...except for fanc hands of course *drop*

That doesn't change the thing that whwn you're in combat, you had to keep pressing one button. Many people like it. To me its disgusting. thats whu I always liked Batman Begins more than other batman games even though Batman Begins was only on consoles, locked at 24fps. But the gameplay was great and so was the graphics at that time. Mashing 1 button... ugh. Are we still playing with a 2 button controller?

Yu probably have different taste and don't even get my point. Not being able to combine while punchin and kicking is disgusting to me. And Max max? Press space to roll, then mash LMB= Job done. So don't even talk to me. I get it you like that mashing button ahit instead of combining buttons.
