Seriously how you can still compare this to Amnesia/Outlast/PT when it was confirmed that the game has combat in it (to be honest I haven't played any of those games other than maybe 30 mins of Outlast so I don't know if there's any combat in those games...). I agree with ya here. This game is a First person mess, but the more details they are revealing- the more it gets closer to resident evil. There may bd ghosts but thats hallucinations of the protagonist probably. Many people wabted to see Resident Evil 3.5, now we got something that might be similar to it. I am expecting RE Survivor type experience, but more scary and RE1 feeling. Its too bad that it had to be 1st person. But I can deal with it if its not permanent and RE8 will be 3rd person.

I would say its almost implied the girl shown in the lantern video is probably Mia.
Though they are just teasers, I dont think she is dead.

I'm not too impressed by the graphics... It's not bad that CAPCOM finally got themselves a 3D scanner, but it's not something they should present as if they're the most innovative developers ever. The models look good but entirely generic. We've had a particular art-style for about four games now, so it's nice to see it improved upon.
All-in-all, it still looks and feels like an indie development. Of course I haven't played it yet, but it feels like yet again the story is underwhelming. In fact, "underwhelming" is a key word when referring to this game. It looks so slow and tiring to play through if the demo is anything to go by.

The models look good but entirely generic. We've had a particular art-style for about four games now, so it's nice to see it improved upon. THIS. I actually thought the same. Most of them are so forgettable. One would actually miss having to see a familiar face from the "real" Resident Evil "family" of characters...

Oh, then Leon will appear in the game?  Nah, neither me can believe that, instead of it. I'll give another theory: The chin face may belong to this blonde woman who is suggested to be Mia, the missing wife. At first, I though the face would be the ghost of the demo, or any of the lady monsters, but watching this woman and learning that the missing wife is the core of the plot... In adittion look at those noses. And the side of the woman, she also shows to have a prominent jaw so that could explain the U shape of the mouth in the t-shirt. the shape of the nose is leons if you make his model be in that angle and put it on top youll see xD and her nose is different and her lips too  so sorry but its leons re4 model XD i can see it clearly now :C altho i wonder why its him maybe just the design of teh shirt xD

EvilLordMaybe we got too much disappointed for not having old characters. So they thought making a Leon shirt will make us happy again. (Even though we were looking for old characters like Billy, Rebecca who are absent for a long time. Not the recently overused Leon, chris, Jill etc)

Not the recently overused Leon, chris, Jill etc) I know RIGHT :C Billy would of been a nice return OR EVEN CARLOS :C

Resident Evil's Leon actor says he isn't directly involved with 7 but would jump at the chance to reprise the role.
"As far as 7 goes, I think they're scaling back a little bit on throwing in all the classic cameos," Mercer said. "I can say that I don't have any involvement in 7 directly.
"But I think it's also good of them, especially coming off of [Resident Evil 6] and its lukewarm reception, to go ahead and reestablish their roots and maybe start an original story," he continued. "And if they decide that that does well, maybe they can then marry it in with the previous stories."
Mercer said he thinks that concentrating on the quality of Resident Evil's new direction is "paramount to maintaining the franchise." However, he says if Capcom ever sees a good opportunity for Leon to show up in Resident Evil 7 or a future game, he's "eagerly awaiting the phone call."
"Leon is a character I have a strong appreciation for," said Mercer. "I loved him when I played the series and being able to step into those shoes has been a huge honor. So any chance to jump into his shoes again, I would definitely leap at."
Mercer took over the voice of Leon in Resident Evil 6 and has since appeared in Resident Evil: Revelations 2 and two animated movies, including next year's Resident Evil: Vendetta.

Or they could be getting the original VA in RE2, or they simply haven't gotten to the point of voice actors yet, who knows. But I digress.
