For those who think that Ethan has no head during the gameplay ... He is headless during Ghost mode, because camera exits the body along with his head.
Those are hallucinations, those are fake. Ethan doesn't have any head and thus Bakers are scared and trying to kill him. Simple as that.

i think characters are good as new characters for a story like that so while they are new and they have their own identity, it's ok (my personal opinion) the only issue is that Redfield guy, which i'm ok with that too he is handsome but just as himself (maybe C.H.Redfield ) and not as chris because it's a big mistake if they replace chris with someone else who has lots of differences age , hair color , body , voice , face , style ,... --------------------------------------------------------------- www.mediafire.com/file/8fm32cumj4i97i3/GTA%21.rar

It doesn't make sense. Tbh, they should stop changing faces of the characters. Leon actually looks worse in RE Vendetta compared to RE Damnation. So does chris compared to RE5 and 1. But its not about whos ugly or pretty, its the fact that they aren't supposed to look like they had plastic surgery lol.

A Jaded Lizard Look, you made these rules, I played by them, why you got so goddamn agitated by it I have no idea. Don't agree- sure, prove all the things I mentioned aren't in the game and let's be done with it. All you're making is excuses. But I'll play ball if you wish. Continuing from from the regenrating health: You asked just for that- because the regeneration has threshholds doesn't mean it's not there. Check the game manual for confirmation. How about next time you be more specific. Firefights: Dang, I didn't know that most enemies using smg's or assault rifles were so hard to notice. Stealth: At which point was hiding from enemies a thing in previous games? As far as I remember the game encouraged running away from combat. Sniper sections: I'm pretty sure that the sniper rifle wasn't required to fight Nosferatu. In RE4 the using the sniper rifle sure as hell wasn't mandatory. Why? Because you had to buy it at your own volition. I'm quite confident that if they left you the choise what arsenal to use, they ballanced the game to acomodate such freedom. You'll have to refresh my memory about RE5, though, I'm having difficulities remembering the times where you had to use the rifle. Tank: "The plane? Seriously?" Yes the plane- the plane that you fly around the aircraft carrier. Was that a QTE to you too? If so then I'll call the AC-130 section from the first COD also a QTE. Seriously, have you played this game? Speaking of RE5 the game that influenced it most was probably Gears of War, but hey, it's not like we're discussing RE6, right? Weapons: I don't know about you, but I sure as hell can't tell the difference between most handuns or shotguns, etc. in RE6 other than basic characterisics like clip size and rate of fire, but hey, if you have proof that every gun from every category in a COD game is a simple model swap, I'll gladly agree with you. Multiplayer: I guess that me referring to singleplayer with everything I wrote or blatanlty stating that I don't play multiplayer isn't a dead ringer that I'm comparing the campaings only. Thanks for paying attention. Talking about multiplayer in regards to RE makes me sick. Campaigns: Umbrella/ Darkside Chronicles- that one's amusing. Spinofs aside I suppose that the games being mostly complations of stories from other games with mostly no relation to eachother other than the characters still counts a one big campaign. Points for effort. I'm starting to get vibes of desperation here. Other then that I'll have to specify what I meant by Globetrotting campaign, because at this rate I'm sure you'll count the train ride from RE0 as one. Campaign from COD (1) has multiple seemingly unrelated threads which connect to eachother as you play the game. So has RE6. Code Veronica indeed switches the location, not questioning that, but it's one story. Revelations 1, sure, why not. Revelations 2, starts on an island, ends on an island nothing in between, before or after, storywise same as Code Veronica. What was the point of mentioning this again? Also I applaud your ingenuity for using a game that came after RE6 as an example. Chases: I must again clarify for it would seem that it wasn't obvious enough that I had in mind all the vehicular segments in the game. RE5 (which, again, took some ques from Gears) aside I suppose that driving snowmobiles, helicopters, planes, bikes was also a staple or Resident Evil. I never mentined anything about racing the clock, don't know where you got that from. The sequence I was reffering to was Leon running away from exploding cars and jumping into a helicopter (so Resident Evil...). From what I can remember the timed sequences in older games introduced nothing to the gameplay other than to tell the player to hurry up. Also the window for completing these objectives was so big that unless you did nothing you would make it with tons of time to spare. Item management? Was that on your list too? My eyes must be decieving me. I didn't know COD games have item management. Damn, COD and RE have more in common than I thought. Joking aside everything I wrote was by following your list and it only. It's not my fault that most of it is actually in the game- feel free to prove me wrong. It's not one singular thing that makes this game influenced by COD, but the amalgamation of everything you yourself wrote. To finish this of I have to ask you- do you throw shit at everyone who dares to challange your opinion? If you want to continue this either calm down or don't bother altogether. Be reasonable. I apologise for the tone of this post. Cheers. Adngel Hi there. I won't argue with you about coop. I started playing RE games when they were strictly singleplayer so when coop was introduced the games lost much of it's apeal to me. Especially since there was no tweaks made to the game for those who wanted to play alone. It was just Capcom playing to what was popular at the time. In all honesty I think that Resident Evil should never be a coop experience, not the main game anyway. That's why RE7 is a welcome change to me. Thanks for your explanation. The way I understood you, was that the previous trend was RE4-->RE6 which I took that the game improved with every installment from this period. I disagree, but thats not important in regards to you. What you wrote about RE7 with it's "faults", however, makes the game feel more like the RE games of old so that's certainly good in my book. Remember that there's no way to satisfy everyone. I got dissapointed with the series somewhat when they added coop, but more or less accepted this and tried to adapt. You, in turn, got burned when coop was removed. If anything RE is a series that's open to change. Maybe someday they'll make a game that you'll be able to enjoy again. Have hope:). sharontubul You'll have to qoute me about those scores, because I don't remember making any such comparisons. But I think I know what you had in mind. No, I wasn't comparing scores. After Revelations 2 released both media and the fanbase was, like "RE's back on track (compared to RE6). Less action, more horror and atmosphere" (also mentioned in the reviews), etc, so it also had hype surrounding it. On surface it's true, but it sure didn't make the game better. RE6 might be the worst direction the series could take, but it's still a better game overall (remember, opinions), but that's not exactly an acomplishment. So these situations aren't exaclty all that different. RE7 just goes further back. SAMI Funny that you mention Dead Space 3- a game in a series that literally got killed off after they added coop to it. Dead Space went from amazing to good to ok, with this trend the next game would probably by Revelations 2 levels of quality, so maybe it's for the better. At least they had the decency to modify the game for singleplayer. I wrote it was influenced by COD not IS COD. Two different things.

RtooOh boy.I understand it's difficult to form your own opinion. I mean, I get it, being original is hard. But if you're going to regurgitate someone else's so blindly, at least have the decency to own it. Let me, again dismantle your post point by point. Firefights: This is literally a mechanic in COD, where every enemy focuses on you while your squad is at best only incidentally engaged, especially on higher difficulties. I'll admit, it's been a while since I've played Chris's campaign since it's hands down the weakest, but I don't recall that ever being the case. It's completely possible from what I recall to let your partner tank while you hang back and take potshots at the enemy, something you can never do in COD. Hey, you've not played a new one since 2007, though, so I can forgive you forgetting things like that. Stealth: That's absolutely a mechanic in Outbreak. It would've been a mechanic in Re3 as well, but I suppose the technology just wasn't there. Adding the ability to actually hide in Re6 is an advantage to that, not a disadvantage. I guess I should've clarified in any case: usually the stealth portions of COD involve you running around with suppressed weapons killing enemies so you don't alert guards. Examples would be "All Ghilied Up" in COD 4, "Vendetta" in the far superior World at War, "Cliffhanger," and the opening parts of "Contingency" and "Just like Old Times" in Modern Warfare 2, the first part of "S.O.G" and "Rebirth" as well as most of the mission "WMD" in Black Ops, the first parts of "Back on the Grid," "Mind the Gap," and the entirety of "Stronghold" (unless you're an idiot) in Modern Warfare 3, and large portions of the missions "Celerium," "Fallen Angel," and "Suffer with Me" in Black Ops 2. I don't remember stealth being as core a mechanic at any point in Re6 that it is in these games. In any case, it's hilariously hypocritical to complain about your "stealth" bits of Re6 but have no problem at all with the stealth in Re7, which has a lot more in common with COD (enemies who have eyes in the backs of their head, stealth that consists exclusively of crouching behind chest-high walls, etc.). Tank section: Okay, I'd honestly forgotten about the VTOL in Chris's story; I thought you were referring to the one you have to QTE as Leon. Maybe be specific? In any case, my point was you only seem to have a problem with a lot of these mechanics in Re6, ignoring they're in most cases the logical progression of gameplay from the previous games. But hey, it's not like game development is a slowly incremental process or anything, right? Weapons: They're all the same, except for the ways they're not. You can't make this point, you addressed none of the things I replied with, you didn't actually make a stronger argument other than "I don't know what I'm talking about" but it's still yours because you say it is. Got it. Sniping: There's a right way, and a wrong way to do the encounters I mentioned. The right way, the way Capcom clearly intends you do them, is with the sniper rifle. The wrong way is...whatever way you were doing them without the rifle. Also, the sniper portion you mentioned in Re6 can be done with the UMP and the Arwen grenade launcher as well, so so I guess you just disproved your own point. Thanks for that. Multiplayer: Literally why people play COD. But hey, please continue to make asinine comparisons while ignoring the most glaring flaw in your argument. That's fine. Campaign: You mentioned flashbacks and globetrotting like they're both negatives. I responded with a list of other games within the series which use the same narrative structure. You missed that point (par for the course) and don't really address why it's okay for those other games to have that, but not Re6. I guess because you just don't like that game (which is fine; I've never said it wasn't. I'd just like you to be smarter about it). Chases: The one at the beginning of Re6 is absurd, I agree...right up there with the one at the end of Re4, which came out seven years earlier. But again, it's okay for other games to have these things, but not Re6. Item Management: Do you hear that sound? That whistling noise? It's what happens when sarcasm sails right over your head. Re6 has item management; COD doesn't. You would have more of a leg to stand on with your argument had Capcom scrapped item management in Re6, but they didn't. Now, I'll see you in another three days while you formulate another poorly constructed counter argument.

RE6 might be the worst direction the series could take, but it's still a better game overall (remember, opinions), but that's not exactly an acomplishment. So these situations aren't exaclty all that different. RE7 just goes further back. I'm just going to throw my two cents in here and outright state that comparing two games with massively different budgets isn't exactly the best of ways to handle it. REV, REV2 were both developed on much smaller budgets and it's blatantly clear so it's really not worth using these as a comparison to 6 in general. They have different names as part of the overall series to make this divide very clear. REV2 had hype mainly regarding the fact that a couple of favourite characters were returning as part of the center focus of the marketing in contrast to 6's marketing which I recall being more action based. From the marketing perspective, the live action trailer was a fun piece with the sheer amount of references and hints in it prior to the rest of the marketing cycling out. The fact that they also released a music medley track and a few other "high resolution" (from the actual studio masters, instead of the usual compressed shit on the CDs) tracks was nice too, but there was also things like paintball tie-ins which also connected up to other general Biohazard things like Biohazard The Real in Universal Studios Japan over in Osaka Prefecture. Not all of the marketing was specifically for REV2 at the time, because Remake HD had been released a couple of months prior and marketing was being geared towards the new 4/5/6 re-release pack which also included CV and the one announced to also include the Chronicles titles. I would know, I was in Japan at the time. In fact, there were only two things out on the menu for marketing towards REV2 in general. One was a general cocktail called "Wesker Eyes" which had a hint towards Alex on the menu, and the other was a meal called "Afflicted's Eye" which was actually a shepherd's pie dish. In fact, I even have a couple of photos - Wesker Eye cocktail. My ugly self holding the Afflicted's Eye dish.I can't be bothered to go and look for the photos I took of the signage displays as I found very few of them in general. What you do not see is that on the menus and signage that everything else is inspired by Remake or Raccoon City as The Real exhibit was set with a replica of Raccoon City and the R.P.D. inside a large building in USJ. All of the merchandise was also all geared towards Remake or 2 being all S.T.A.R.S., R.P.D. or Umbrella things. There is still little to no merchandise for REV2 either in comparison to 6 or 7 individually. This lack of marketing and merchandising was also reflected at the Capcom Cafe - all of the marketing was geared towards Remake HD as they had a special display of the concept art for the game and barely anything for REV2 in sight, stores also only had a couple of posters out towards it too and there was very few CMs actually running in general after intentionally going through Shibuya Ward and Akiba/Akihabara over in Chiyoda Ward. So, I beg to differ regarding hype based in origin of media and the like specifically on the REV2 side. Most of the interest happened in regard to the Live Action trailer which we were left to solve until it was pointed out, only closer to the release of episodes in January and the release of Metamorphosis in April did the marketing really include action shots or character montages as this is also partially timed with NDAs being lifted upon the final episode release. Marketing was spoken about when I was around, though mainly I was over there for a break but ended up having dinner meetings which went into target demographics for titles, censorship, game longevity and so-on with another developer and a few formers from other companies like Konami. So that also brings up another difference: 6 was targeted towards new audiences, and was budgeted as such. REV2 was on a restricted budget, and seems to have been targeted at both old and new, with old taking over. 7 has been stated to be targeted at the old audiences, but the problem is that there is basically nothing for the old audiences in terms of familiarity as the usage of the new Umbrella goes to Umbrella Corps and the connection is really only seen on the JP side and to a lesser extent, French in terms of localization of Heavenly Island. There was also massive amounts of marketing for 7, like the trip across the US with the demo bus. This wasn't done for the last title, so overall it seems pointless for people to try and compare <Main Series> and <Side Series> but for what it's worth, REV2 has so far still got more in terms of plot related things down from the amount of files within the game in general over what is in 7 thus far. I will say that there has also been a bit of manipulation on the English side once again in terms of the files with things getting inserted into them that do not exist in the JP side as well. No big surprise, but it is unfortunate that it still continues. If there could be a good balance of gameplay and story to keep both sides of the audience and/or fanbase happy, I would honestly be happy to have the REV series continue and the main numbered series can be however it is provided that neither current 'stance' of the main or side influence the other in terms of content and gameplay mechanics. Though I think if REV was allotted a better budget to as to avoid copious asset reuse without any modification overall, then that would help appease a few people.

Overseer The comparison was between RE7 and REV2- both share the opinion of "returning to better times" whether by critics/fanbase/both. I can understand that Revelations 1 had a smaller budget as a handheld game. When it comes to Revelations 2, however, I find this pretty unacceptable. For starters Capcom isn't some small indie company and Resident Evil is one their biggest franchises so why they went the cheap route is beyond me. Sure there was REHD, but it was mostly a retouch job (sometimes very questionable) so it couldn't have been that expensive that they would have resorted to diverting cash from REV2 to fund it. Through the promotional materials we were told that this was to be a nextgen experience using the newest version of MT Framework. If they market it as such than it deserves to be treated like any other game. You wrote that RE6 was marketed towards a newer audience while REV 2 towards new and old. Logic suggests that it should have a bigger budget for that reason. Additionally there are games with far lesser budgets and with more artistic integrity. I'll be honest- I detest Revations 2. Everything from the story, visuals, characters, gameplay feels either underdevelped or downright bad. You could fix the graphics by shoving more cash at it, but it wouldn't help everything else. Maybe the original script is better, but I can only work with what I got and what I got was crap. I was really optimistic about this game when they announced it- Revelations 1 was closer to a "pure" RE game than both 5 and 6 so I thought that the same team would also helm this one (to my surprise the Revelations 1 people went to create RE7 while this was created by someone else), but from the first screenshots/gameplay trailers it was clear to me that something is off. Then came the intro, which in all honesty looks worse than the one from Revelations 1, a handheld game. Then came the release plan, Moira Burton, etc and by the time I finally got to play it long after release I was sure I wasn't going to like it. But I wasn't expecting how much I would have hated this game- it was truly a torture for me and the only reason why I went through it all (twice due to endings) is so we could have this conversation. I can go more into detail about all of this but unless you're curious about it I'd rather not make this post any longer. As for RE7 the fact that it shares some design philosophies with the older games has me somewhat curious and optimistic about it. It's not a problem that it separates itself from the recent games- it was increasingly more difficult for me to connect to most of the more recent games so the clean slate aproach suits me just fine. Anyway all this comparing and disecting games has given an idea. Using this opportunity I'd like invite You all to a game of my own. RtooThe visuals are all over the place, that's why I don't know why the budget route was taken in the first place for REV2. The plot on the other hand, it actually makes sense on the JP side but you also have to understand that there's been quite a bit striped out across the series in general and it's a long-standing complaint of mine. I follow the story on the JP side over the English side, REV2 made sense to me but I think it could have been a lot better than the final version in a number of ways but in terms of handling something like the zapping system again to me, that side of the gameplay was handled fine and RAID Mode is fun to do, but it's disappointing given that the game data and press postings do suggest that more levels and characters were to be added that ultimately never were added to the game so that's further poor support of the title too. The likely reason for the budgeting would've been in regard to Zero HD because around that time the Pachislot Zero came out with the start of the reworked assets, but it was prior to the modifications made to Rebecca's face and the like is what I took it as, there was also more marketing for the Pachislot in general too for the record because within the country it's more of a feasible term of numbers by having the pachinko parlours near the train stations to catch people after work, before they've gone home due to the general standard of excessively long working hours instead of offering up a full game. Handhelds and Pachislot versions are popular for that reason as a lot of the parlour and arcade versions have cards to save your data on to continue your game too. So to me, if both work on the main and the side titles could be done in a way that neither side that prefers either one feels ripped off, it would be nice. I just don't get why there's been things modified in 7 when there's only 30 something files in there, which don't really connect up in a huge way to past offerings. It just seems really weird to me for stuff to be inserted in when it wasn't there, in contrast to stuff intentionally following a particular thing of being stripped out in the ENG side in relation to certain things in the past. If there was more story in 7, and other things that stand out or give me some interest in the characters I'd be more fine with things, but even on the JP side there isn't really anything to make me interested in it being part of the problem as I enjoy the odd stories in the series, the music, the characters as ridiculous as they may get from time to time as it's fun to me but in comparison to a game that was budgeted poorly, and had it's localization butchered I feel more towards the characters in that and can name more music tracks or describe things from that over 7 which is where my problem lies in 7. It blends together to me personally. I wasn't a big fan of 6, part of it also lies in the GUI being so... varying between the characters, but I do still remember plot things and other details despite never playing the game sober. I have been drunk every single time I've played 6 with a friend, but being completely sober there's still nothing that stands out in 7 to me in comparison to the bigger budgeted title of 6, or the butchered and cheaped out budget of REV2, or the handheld REV. That's just leaving my gaming preferences out of it too - it's just not personally memorable to me, and while you may have enjoyed or hated titles that I've had the opposite feeling to, the difference is that things still stood out for you to enjoy or hate for better or worse. It's just a blur to me, and for a main title in a series, that to me feels wrong and it shouldn't be like that in general. Like the reason we see particular characters continually is marketable recognition. If they haven't played the games, then the customer has likely seen or heard of the films in terms of live action or animated at the very least. But what is there in regard to this with 7? Jack? Certainly not the playable characters so far, Mia is more recognizable than Ethan but even then she blends in too much in general in a number of ways too. I'd just like something to stand out, and I'd expect it of a main series title. The only thing that comes to mind regarding 7 to me, personally, is the Go Tell Aunt Rhody theme and Jack because of the sheer amount of usage in marketing and people making the "Welcome to the family, son!" joke over and over again.

He doesn't look like RE6 or Damnation. He looks similar but not good enough.
