it's more like p.t. anyway lets go to the info : Gameplay The game will be played in first-person. Players will be able to use weapons and fight back against enemies although the developers say they should not expect a "gun fest". Other popular elements of Resident Evil games such as puzzle solving, resource management and healing herbs have also been confirmed to feature in the game. Quick time events on the other hand will be entirely absent. The PlayStation 4 version of the game can also be played from start to finish in VR using the PlayStation VR helmet, but gameplay remains identical between the two modes.
Plot The game is set after Resident Evil 6, "in modern day", and features a new main character that does not have the combat skills the main characters of recent Resident Evil games display. Although connections to previous games in the series exist, there will not be any returning characters. The game's setting is described as a derelict plantation mansion in rural America. The title of the game, which for the first time contains in it both the "Resident Evil" and "Biohazard" brand names of the series, is said to be a clue to what's behind the game's plot

RE2 remake was already announced. Also remaking a game is not "small" nor simple. The original RE2 game, was still smaller than most of our current modern games, however, there may be other reason. In the RE7 PT, it looks like that there is a clue for this RE2 Remake, if it is released close to March 2017, there may not be enough time for it count its sales ready for the fiscal year, what would explain why it's not in their close predictions. - The game is about 65% done.So this means There is still a chance to save our game of a Destruction i mean there is still 35% remains so Well this can include a 3rd person camera and a little resident evil!!! it became 65% silent hill , p.t , outlast , and just 35% resident evil! i personally prefer that reverse, i mean 65% resident evil with main characters and over shoulder camera and only 35% silent hill but what we can do now? they already destroyed 65% of our favorite so we have to save remains from terminators hands! maybe we can convince them to change their stupid ideas please dear friends do something... maybe with email or comment on capcom official website or... i don't know Whatever you think will have an impact pleaseeeeee Believe.... you can do something... you are the determiners just believe yourself pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee........... 65%, so they are going to make the 35% in the next last 6 months, so if in 6 months they make aroung 35% of the project, does that means that they have only been working on this for 1 year and a bit more? :S weird weird weird. (in 2014, Okabe mentioned that there were a bigger team working in RE7, Kitchen was a mechanical demo of RE7 which was released the past year, what have they been doing since summer 2013? maybe what Sectus though is true and they have restarted the project in some moment O.ò ). But anyway, I yes going to do something! I'm NOT going to buy RE7. :3

Remember guys the last part in creating a videogame is polishing. So with 65 % done the whole game is complete and only polishing and maybe some bonus conten remains. They wont make any changes to the core game of RE7 in this state. Dont think any % is equal in time, the last 30 % polishing is normally really fast done. Just think how long it takes to make the first percents with writing the Engine and set up the mechanics for VR and the whole planning, concept and Designphase which is done before reaching only 1 percent of the Games content.
So their time management makes sense without having to restart.

yes me too thank you dear Adngel
(and thank for reply too) and about time that they have: unfortunately i couldn't upload my modes but i remember that i change re4 to uhd for a friend in 2008 just in 19 hours! (as a birthday gift) and he really loved that! also i add a lot of new option to that all by myself and all just in 19 hours! but when the re4uhd released every body were upset look at ourself and see what we did by our hands without any kind of help and compare us with a big group includes 400 members in one unique place working together with more than 50000000$ budget (our money)... look at son of persia , He made the impossible possible without any help look at crisdecuba and albert
they made the real re4uhd without any kind of help and just for free and just as a fan look at cd project red they made 3 super ultra big ultra uuuuhhhhhddddd dlc for fans in a few month that are even bigger than the main game i just saw a gameplay and my mind blowup. and i heard those dlcs are just for free!!! really?!! and also they give fans a mooding tool too!! Just to please the fans ohhhhhhhh myyyyy......... believe me RESIDENT EVIL or any other games without fans is just a forgotten game and Been sentenced to oblivion my point of view isn't a stupid video game i just care about modding and our group but capcom want to ruin modding with that decision (fps camera) they thought they are owner of the franchise but they are not. not without fans and their money this franchise is still alive because we keep it alive so i wanna say yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh thank you dear Adngel "I'm NOT going to buy RE7" now made whatever you want capcom

Well, here's what I think most Resident Evil fans were expecting. Mind you this doesn't speak for everyone but here's what I was expecting and at least hoping for. While Resident Evil 4's gameplay was a bit of a departure technically from the old formula it was a bit more...acceptable? Primarily because it was something different in the right contexts. As it was stated right in the opening it wasn't Umbrella's doing right from the get go, it was a bit more acceptable that there'd be a new direction to take with it. And I sure didn't mind as I didn't quite feel nearly as scared as playing other particular Resident Evil titles but then again, there were some parts that did creep me out a bit.
Like the fight against the village elder, Salazar's Right hand, that one boss where you were in the containers that would fall, and of course the regenerators themselves freaked me out and I still hate those things with a passion, even when owning the unlimited ammo Chicago typewriter and can kill them easy. Thing was the game didn't quite need to rely on spooky atmosphere nearly as much and given the different location, different enemy types that still...I suppose felt feasible within the Resident Evil Universe didn't bug me too much.
But then the next Resident Evil title I actually had a blast playing was Revelations 1. At this point I really wasn't expecting a whole lot out of the franchise but the title was surprisingly good and fun for me, I was actually rather intrigued by it from beginning to end. Revelations 2 surprised me a bit as well but it wasn't without it's flaws slightly. Mostly in the context of how really morbid some of the places were. That's a bit more of the problem. Originally the franchise didn't quite rely on these places of sheer morbidness and mentally disturbing to psychological horror messing with your head, making you feel "icky" and just go "Oh wow that's just wrong and messed up. What the heck is this?" as opposed to walking into a room or area that's just simply bluntly trashed and go "Ohhhhh dear I don't know what did this but I don't wanna meet what caused this mess, but I gotta...".
In this case Resident Evil still had some familiarity not just limited to the whole healing herbs thing but the arsenal of weapons you get which technically Resident Evil was famous for even in the beginning, and it had Leon whom while different from when we last saw him, was acceptable given it had been awhile since we last officially saw him. Last we heard from him was an email in Code Veronica to Claire. And before that one of the endings where he made a deal with the government and became an agent for them. So he was bound to have changed a bit from that. I still like the old Leon from the second game but I also like the Leon we got.
The biggest disappointment to me was came in Resident Evil 5's Shiva. Mostly because of A, her role didn't do a thing to negate the backlash they felt they'd receive, and B, it trivialized Claire's whole big goal from Resident Evil 2 to Code Veronica of her trying to find Chris, so her not being partnered with Chris just makes no sense to me in that department, at all. Like, who didn't want the Redfield duo to take down Wesker? Resident Evil 5 was when things started to go downhill and got technically worse with 6. Mind you some aspects of 6 were promising, only problem was it wasn't quite done all the way. Bringing back Sherry and giving her a real purpose? Awesome move. Lack of characters like Jill, Carlos, Barry, Claire, Rebecca? Not so good. It coulda been a whole Resident Evil cast onsomble but nope.
The idea to me is not really how the fact that "Well the characters are used to this sorta thing now, let's dump them." is a bit of a lame excuse. As while yes, I have beaten the Gamecube remake of the first game a few times, I still get edgy going back to playing it because it was legitimately a scary trip. Heck, it actually felt scary owning the thing once I actually got a taste of the gameplay. To where I was even a little hesitant to turn the game on. I never had a game get to me that bad before. Like wow.
But I digress. It really isn't so much as camera angles that make the gameplay for me. I don't mind the over the shoulder view stuff. I find it a lot more interesting than a mere "I'm pointing a camera at stuff and recording it for whatever the heck reason because camera filters!" that flood the indi market. And even if you don't have a camera you have only a flashlight. The thing is that Revelations 1 showed it was capable of making a good survival horror esc game even with some of the action. It felt a bit more balanced out. Jill had a fair bit of experience by that point and while I don't feel as edgy playing it it's still pretty eerie wandering the ship's halls and corridors because...well, it didn't go out of it's way to creep me out with freaky surgical implements or rooms designed with no rhyme or reason as just rooms that were trashed or going to BE trashed by the mutated monstrosities on the ship.
Heck, I constantly have my gun pointed when walking in the shallows until I know I got the last of those water faring beasts. Those guys make my skin crawl. Sure it didn't feature the typical zombies like in the older games but we didn't quite need them. The oozes as they're called filled that role fairly well. Mind you they aren't nearly as threatening once you've upgraded your arsenal in a literal sense but they are dangerous in swarms and that's kinda the deal, when you have a ton coming at you it becomes a bit tense to make your shots count.
Revelations 1 and 2 got this right but I do wish 2 didn't rely so much on the ultra creepy undertones. Or heck, overtones if you think about it. The meat factory was gross with the meat and large pools of blood. And good golly...the area before you meet Alex Wesker and before you fight Alex Wesker was just....seriously? Was that imagery necessary? It felt needlessly over the top to me. And while...oh dear, I forget her name, but it was the hunched back woman with the shackles wandering around the mansion in the GameCube remake, she was disturbing as all get out and while her room was disturbing it at least made some sense and it wasn't well, constantly in your face for several minutes unless you stayed there. It wasn't done a lot is the deal. But then it got ridiculous after a point to where you just want it to stop.
That's where this new title is ticking me off. It throws most of what made Resident Evil Resident Evil and embraces all this over the top junk that indi developers have done and games we've been mentioning repeatedly. No real reason for it except "We do whatever we want and don't give a darn what our fans will think." and to put this into perspective, I'm a Mega Man fan as well (Like it wasn't obvious from my name. But ya never know, some people just use names because they sound cool.) But I'm not holding my breath for a new title even though they held a voting thing for what we want them to do with Mega Man a few months ago.
Much like I don't believe we'll ever get a true Metroid title ever again no thanks to that overblown "fan bashing" fiasco over Other M years ago. Oh sure, listen to the idiot "fans" whom only oogle over Samus' piece of trash Zero Suit fanarts and not the true fans who legitimately play the games. Same can be applied here just about with us and Capcom.

Try to calm down people, it's only a game Sorry. Just after awhile you get tired of stupid nonsense like this and after awhile you begin to put pieces together, it makes you very depressed. Especially when what you want seems so simple to do yet no one seems to care at all just...well, makes you feel worthless.

I think most of us actually are pretty calm. Voicing negative opinions doesn't necessarily equate to hostility or not being calm.

The RE trailer we saw could also be the glimpse of kitchen and not Actual Re7. Anyway, hopefilly Re8 will have 3rd person view. Most games are 1st person and third psrson games left are some single button mashing crap. Look at Assasins creed, Batman, Madmax etc etc- Tap X to kill the enemies (no combat variation , nothing).
Anyway, they should include the shadow of the charter we are playing with. We should be able to see his/her legs if we look down just like crysis. Hate how in COD and Far Cry there's no leg and shadow of the player.
