So after I reinstalled Steam and RE6 (including some Model mods and the Trainer Patches) on my PC , RE6 doesnt work anymore with my PS4 Controller which runs over the DS4 Tool. The Problem is that the Game constantly switches between Gamepad input and Xbox input (first Button i push is a Gamepad button icon with a Number and the second time i push a button it changes to Xbox icons). I have no Idea what causes this but every other game works fine with the DS4 Tool so i assume it has to be a mod/patch i installed. but before i reinstall RE6 again (downloading 14 GB again -.-) i wanted to ask here if someone can help me or maybe even know what the issue is? Btw i changed from WIN 7 to WIN 10, that's the only major change my PC went through.

- get x360ce (http://www.x360ce.com/) - configure your controller with x360ce and set hook mode "normal" - copy ALL x360ce files in the resident evil directory (where BH6.exe is) - delete default_mapping.ini file in the resident evil directory - run x360ce and than the game
now the game worked for me with an controller

This is a common PC controller issue. It also affects RE4, RE5 and other PC games.
It is caused by both X-input and D-input calls being sent to the game with every button press.
A very easy way to solve it is to disable controller pass-through in x360 ce (or other 360 controller emulator) which will cancel out all the D-input calls.
Exclusive mode in DS4Windows has the same affect.
