Well,i never use textmod for my RE4.About crashing problem im talking about is when you use alot of HD texture mod(Character,Weapon,Environment),crashing will happen very frequently.
As far as i know,only HD menu mod need textmod,i never use that mod so don't know much about it.

i think i will do without that texmod finally (there are so many good mods on this game , HUD just becomes a mere bonus... i have found so many better things -such as playing as Dr Salvador xD )
