These screenshots are set to the highest brightness, please keep this in mind.SCREENSHOTS:Until there's a way to kill the master for the shader without repacking every single roomfile's arc, then this or using a debugged DirectX hook seem to be the easiest but this works without causing any additional slow-down in contrast to a DirectX hook. I've done a quick test but I haven't checked every area of the game (I've yet to get around to sitting down and playing through it) but there's no filter throughout the Ecliptic Express and I've yet to see it show up within the Umbrella Research Centre. If it doesn't work in certain areas, please send me a message with a screenshot and I'll work on an updated package. DOWNLOADINSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:1. Rename your original re0hd.exe to something like re0hdoriginal.exe 2. To install, please unzip the archive and place into your Bio/RE Zero main directory such as: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Resident Evil 03. Launch Zero via Steam, this will now open Texmod and select TARGET APPLICATION (the folder button) and navigate to your newly renamed Zero executable. 4. Select PACKAGE MODE, click the folder button and select Bio0NoNoise.tpf
5. Select RUN and the game will now begin normally, but without the noise and colour texture filter going on.

Can you please make a version with JUST the noise filter removal?
On my end, the lack of color filter makes the game seem purple and red and I just don't like it.
Thanks!

Can you please make a version with JUST the noise filter removal? On my end, the lack of color filter makes the game seem purple and red and I just don't like it. Thanks! The colour tinting looks to be tied to the noise filter I'm afraid. Outright killing the noise filter overlay kills the colour filter as they're loaded in the one instance at a particular memory address. Things like bloom and effects from particular sources like fire or water are handled on different shaders from what I could see looking through the actual shader calls and testing no-ops on both vertex and pixel shaders. I could have a poke at doing a no-op but that would require shoving in a new DirectX related dll into the folder to override the default and would likely cause a slow-down (at the very least during boot of the game) but that would depend as to whether or not it has additional colour tint functions like REV2 did (as Zero shares a few files with REV2 from a general browse) and if they are on different memory addresses and as to whether or not these addresses are universal or if they are completely different per every single room file. Otherwise, it would likely require every single individual roomfile to be modified and repacked to disable the noise filter as modifying what ought to be the 'master' texture for it in the main directory hasn't done anything so far which could also mean that the 'master' for the filter may actually be packed into the actual shader file. Which then has the problem of unless the actual 'master' for the shader is found and killed properly, it has to be done in a manner to prevent the game going into endless loading sequences, displaying graphical errors or crashing from direct modification to the shader and it's calls. This is why I just labelled this as a temporary fix for the filter, I'm not particularly well versed in dealing with shaders but that's what I've come across so far so there's all likelihood that I'm incorrect on this one. Just the other option would be trying to manually repack all of the roomfiles (and related files) which would result in quite a large download simply to disable a filter. Honestly put, in my opinion the game shouldn't even have a warm filter on it. It's a horror game after all and colder tones ought to be expected, as it's simply showing how the textures backgrounds actually are.

Mate i have put your link on my download page. This works really well with my mod No worries, that's all fine with me. Does it? That's good to hear! If it works, I'm not fussed if you want to intentionally pack things together should you do additional colouring tweaks and the like as it's just such a tiny thing to try and save a little bit of hassle for a quick fix on dealing with the noise filter. Unfortunately, I'm generally using a laptop so I likely won't be able to use your mod until I get a better set up going on.

Thanks for the mod Overseer, could you take a look or port this noise removal for RE1 HD Remaster too?

No, I was hosting it on my own site - I'm in the middle of changing hosts and I'll be reuploading mods and other things shortly.

So do you use VigLink or not? If you don't the website must add monetization links to URLs.
I can't open spoiler, could you embed the screenshots instead?

So do you use VigLink or not? If you don't the website must add monetization links to URLs. I can't open spoiler, could you embed the screenshots instead? What did you not understand when I specifically stated that it was hosted on my own site? If I was using "VigLink" then I would've stated I was. I was hosting on Bluehost and having my domain name running via Dreamhost with absolutely no monetization being used on my site across the board, I have also never provided details for donations or anything else of the sort and as such - I directly hotlinked to files on my own domain's dedicated directory for my Biohazard series stuff, including a dedicated sub-directory for modding. Simply to make it easier for ease of access. In other words - the files are currently not available because as I previously stated: my hosting is currently down for the actual site - I still retain my domain name, but have yet to put my site back online as I've been busy with more important matters, namely work. Whatever problem you're having with monetized links and the like being used by other modders and the like - complain to the forum staff because if you've noticed it being a factor across the forums in general then it is quite clearly not being implemented by the modders creating links on the forums and it is being implemented at the root of it all. I can confirm this as a fact as the direct link from the download link in this topic was originally going to - stalkinginsanity . com / biohazard / modding / Biohazard%20Zero%20Noise%20Kill%20Texmod . zip This is the reupload of the exact same zip file onto Dropbox, directly to the Dropbox download link page. www.dropbox.com/s/e1albwuuqkw4zdu/Biohazard%20Zero%20Noise%20Kill%20Texmod.zip?dl=0And this is the two screenshots that were within the spoiler tag, which like the original archive was hosted within my Bio modding directory. I'll be reuploading files when I've settled on new hosting, but with files coming from my own domain, out of my own pocket - it's a waste of time to insert additional monetized shit onto my links, I already have bad internet in my country so if I ever need to get backups of things and can't access my hosting it wastes my time and data to deal with extra stuff being loaded.
