"Remastering a Remastered Masterpiece"
·What's the goal of this project?
Replace some of the horribly upscaled pre-rendered backgrounds and textures in REmaster.
·Who's working on this project?
Bunny: 3D artist and texture artist.
Joel Welsh : He's providing some of the original textures used by Capcom.
·Is there an estimated release date?
No, but I'll keep you updated as much as possible.

this is really beautiful thank you for doing this mate i hope you can make a nice demo soon so we can test your amazing job also any idea on when this will be finished and which stages have you worked on ? and which ones did you use from UC ? but so far so good ^_^ i wish you teh best of luck and lets hope for the best and one more question xD will you be releasing this as a one big patch for teh game ?

Let me answer some of your questions:
-I'm not sure how long it will take me to finish this project but I'll definitely keep you updated.
-I'm trying not to use too many models from UC since those are just low poly versions of the original 3D assets. I only reuse simple models like floors, walls and maybe doors but that's pretty much it.
-This project is one big patch for the game and I may have a few surprises but I can't say anything yet.
And here's another background from room 10a: ah i see and damn nice job so far if it takes a year i can wait for it as long as we get what capcom should of done in the first place ;D thanks for doing this and keep up teh good work mate ^_^

That looks stunning, Bunny. I see you were able to find the official wall texture as well. I believe it was also used as the carpet in the n64 version of the Ecliptic Express. Do you mind if I ask where you were able to find it? >.>

That looks stunning, Bunny. I see you were able to find the official wall texture as well. I believe it was also used as the carpet in the n64 version of the Ecliptic Express. Do you mind if I ask where you were able to find it? >.> I didn't actually find the original texture. I had to recreate it from scratch. It was also a good opportunity for me to learn the basics of Adobe Illustrator.

My new version of room 204 is almost complete. The models are more accurate and the textures have been upgraded.

(Image) Oh my goodness. Is that the ugly red hallway that probably traumatized many scientists living there? Even if it isn't, amazing work! It really looks stunning.

Well done! This was one of the most bleeding eye room in terms of blurriness and lack of detail. Great job Thank you. Some of the models in this room were hard to re-create because there was no collision model in REmaster and in Umbrella Chronicles they used a completely different version of the models so I didn't have any good reference.
