here are my settings SweetFX I use in my game.

NOTE 1:
I recommend a 2GB GPU or superior because SFX can reduce the performance of the game.

Note 2:
I use
- Max. ingame Settings
- Original Custom Palett 4

He explained what fixes:
- similar to the original setting of GC
- Best lighting.

- Aura item light similar to RE5.

- Eliminate blur and improve quality of textures.

- Improves the visual quality of water.

- Better lighting in dark areas.

- Improves blood effect and gives a more organic effect to the Plagas.

- DOF increases as the GC version.

- increases the distance shadows in dark areas.

- increases the shadows yes, but not leave the area completely in black like others.

- corrects the glow on fire.

- correction and differentiation in the colors.

Installation:
Put the entire contents of the folder bin32 in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Resident Evil 4\Bin32

how rare it is supposed to do the opposite.
you've probably made some changes to the NVIDIA Control Panel/AMD Catalyst Control Center, if so let it all default
If it does not work, I could not tell you why fails :/

He means the in-game antialiasing option, which is MSAA, not the SMAA\FXAA which are added by SweetFX. And, as far as I know, MSAA has to be turned off in order for SweetFX to work correctly. At least that's how it used to be, not sure if ReShade injector changed anything.
