That is, I know they updated the textures, but I recall seeing a video saying that, given how high a poly count the originals had, that's all they changed. Still, when I compare Chris's face here i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o613/Shadowrave3/Chris2.jpg and i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o613/Shadowrave3/Chris1.jpg here, I can't help but wonder. I suppose the easiest way to see if it's just the textures or maybe the lighting would be to import the GameCube model—has anyone tried doing so? Can that be done? Everyone else looks largely the same, but Chris just stands out to me like a sore thumb, particularly around his eyes.

As far as I know all models are exactly the same in both versions.

As far as I know all models are exactly the same in both versions. I can guarantee it for you my friend. not really capocm retouched the models a bit and doubled the mesh GC had limits so yeah they just added a bit more geometry and used the cutscene models for both in game and cutscene and just retouched enhanced both in texture and in models so yeah its different

For one, there is a huge note-able difference,e its not just lighting they probably just re-did them and upped them a bit, but saying its not changed is silly lol

His right eye looks ever, ever so slightly open wider, maybe, possibly. But okay, no, seeing them like that, they're (textures aside) identical. In general I'm not a big fan of the new lighting (http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Resident1-635x476.jpg and cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Resident-Evil-HD-Remaster1-635x357.jpg and cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Resident-11-635x476.jpg and cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Resident-Evil-HD-Remaster-11-635x357.jpg lights become a lot more harsh, and sometimes change color from blue to yellow, and gosh, look at Chris's face), so at least I can chalk it up to that.
