Pint-Sized HUD

For he who prefers a small, concise heads-up display.

Introduction

This mod is essentially a watered-down, bare-bones version of the default heads-up display, but with a few, significant changes to it.

This mod is based off of Wizard's concepts for the New Custom HUD mod. I very much liked his ideology for that mod and so I wanted to 'update' it a little. However, I found some bugs with his aforementioned mod, bugs which couldn't be fixed by modifying the mod files alone. So needless to say, I had to create this mod from scratch with Wizard's original concepts in mind.

Features:

A new and compact design for the HUD
Names have been removed across the board
Fully compatible with all Gold Edition content, including The Mercenaries
HUD has been crafted to be near pixel-perfect during texture editing (which took a long time)

Note: This mod comes as a packaged mod, ready to be installed via Sectus's mod manager. In other words, this mod is fully compatible with the aforementioned mod manager.

Installation

Automatic: Use Sectus's mod manager.

Manual: Navigate to your Resident Evil 5 installation directory ("C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Resident Evil 5" by default for Steam users) and plop the extracted folders in there. Overwrite where necessary.

Oh, and please make a backup of the original files which this mod overwrites!

Also, some feedback wouldn't go amiss. So please, if you have any ideas of how this mod can be improved, please share them!

Regardless I enjoy this mod, this is VERY good

Could do. I preferred the original colours which the game had for things like the ammo counter, on-screen text, etc., which is why I kept them at the default colour scheme. But yeah, changing the colour to how Wizard done it is entirely possible. We'll see.

I simply did some reverse engineering with the above program, using the PS button mod as a primary base.
Then I just added files from the pint-sized HUD mod, replacing files in the PS button mod.

Thanks. I probably wouldn't have made them both compatible anytime soon because I don't use the PS button mod and because I'm a lazy ass, heh.

I have a suggestion, in mercenaries, sometimes I feel the need to know what character my partner is using :/ It would feel somehow better if my partner's name was written next to his/her health bar. I haven't even used your mod yet, I need to make it compatible with PS3 buttons mod; and I have just started to learn modding from 0 now :/
