The modmanager.exe opens up to a small black window, titled "Project." I can't seem to install; can any advice be given?

Thanks that helped out a lot! Just for the record though I had to temporarily disable security in order to let it run.

Uploaded new version: www.fluffyquack.com/tools/modmanager.rarThe entire point of this version is getting all my trainers working again. RE2 and DMC4: SE trainers are compatible with the latest patches of those games, but the other trainers need old executables for those games. I managed to download older versions which I've confirmed are still compatible with my trainers. You can download them here: mega.nz/#!oRcWhIzb!j09E_0zhksqbAmDR2bMKkX2g4kJE55xg2of1XVmd5_I I'm not completely sure if those executables will work for everyone (maybe in some cases you'll also need different game assets), but it's the best solution I can offer right now (properly updating every trainer to work with latest patches is very time-consuming). The Revelations 1 and 2 trainers I didn't look into getting to work as they barely have any features anyway.

Manually copy and paste this as a link: mega.nz/#!oRcWhIzb!j09E_0zhksqbAmDR2bMKkX2g4kJE55xg2of1XVmd5_I For some reason, I can't make a proper clickable link out of it.

Hey, FluffyQuack! Firstly, thank you for sharing your time and skills with all of us - I'm amazed to see how dedicated and responsive you are throughout this whole thread. So, I'm trying to setup a custom game with your Manager but ran into a issue. The game itself is Darksiders 3 (on Steam), and so far I've successfully followed this tutorial to make a simple texture mod:
I've managed to add the game to the Manager list, but when I try clicking my mod to install it, a message appears: "Can't install this type of mod without loading game file lists first." So, I checked the "Define game info" section, and realized that the "UE4 contents directory" path was empty. So, I navigated to the .PAK files in the Darksiders 3 Steam install folder, copied the location and pasted it into "UE4 contents directory:" But then the Manager just crashed.
I've tried some self-troubleshooting, and here a few things to note: • I'm making sure to run as Administrator. • Darksiders 3 actually has two .PAK files. I tried moving one out of the folder, in case the Manager wasn't sure which one to access, but it still crashes. • I'm using Windows 8.1, and the .PAK files are named "pakchunk0-WindowsNoEditor.pak". So, maybe the file name implies that it has a modding blocker. • I can avoid it crashing, by typing the directory path in manually and hitting Enter/Return after each folder. But once I type the last folder and hit Enter, it crashes. • The directory path is quite long, so I'm wondering if it's too long. Although, as mentioned above, I can enter almost the whole thing without it crashing. Here it is for reference: "G:\Zach silver backup\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Darksiders 3\Darksiders3\Content\Paks"
Is there any way to solve this?

The mod manager's UE4's support only works with older UE4 games, unfortunately. Newer UE4 versions have added extra encryption, and a lot of them don't support the trick my mod manager does (invalidate file paths and hope the game loads files outside the archive). I think your best bet would be to package the mod as a PAK file, and copy that to the game's "paks" directory (if you still want this installed via the mod manager, you can check "UE4 Game" to off").

I think your best bet would be to package the mod as a PAK file, and copy that to the game's "paks" directory (if you still want this installed via the mod manager, you can check "UE4 Game" to off"). Ah, I see. Part of the process was unpacking all the files - so as you suggested, I just tried replacing the texture files, repacking them with all the files and replacing the original PAK file. But not too surprisingly, launching the game just gives an error message: "LowLevelFatalError [File:C:\TeamCityAgent\work\30289eec3c5a271e\Engine\Source\Runtime\PakFile\Private\IPlatformFilePak.cpp] [Line: 3821] Trailing magic number (1263534080d) in '../../../Darksiders3/Content/Paks/pakchunk0-WindowsNoEditor.pak' is different than the expected one. Verify your installation."
I thought maybe there was a chance to follow the trail, but Windows can't find the "C:\TeamCityAgent..." file location. So, the issue seems to be the format of repacking it. Probably time to call it quits on this one for now. But I very much appreciate your help - and I'm still enjoying the game a bunch.

Hello FluffyQuack, just discovered your Manager mod yesterday and had lots of fun with it since. Great job!
I'm just wondering if you'd care to add a no HUD function for Resident Evil 6? I wanted to take screenshots & videos of the QTEs but the button pop-ups are kinda ruining the images.
Thank you in advance!
