For the seekers of the finer things in life.

Introduction

This mod allows you to play Desperate Escape as the Mercenaries version of Jill Valentine. More specifically, Jill's gritty and mangled chest is no longer present, and is replaced by her cleaner counterpart.

I feel this is a good time to mention that I know that this isn't a big mod, and it is in fact the first mod I've released (and hopefully the first of many since I now know what I'm doing, thanks to Night Furious) but yeah, it ain't significant, but nameless (the collaborator of this mod) and I agreed that there will be other users out there who feel that Jill is best suited with her Mercenaries version, rather than the standard Desperate Escape get-up

Complete overhaul of Jill's chest, including removal of markings and vein effects
Rectified textures between Jill's neck and chest, ensuring seamless cohesion

A special thanks goes out to Night Furious for teaching me how to actually swap models and parts of models through the method of extracting ARC files and whatnot. Without him, dare I say it this mod would not be here today. So a big round of applause to him!

Note that this mod comes as a packaged mod, ready to be installed via Sectus's mod manager. In other words, this mod is fully compatible with the aforementioned mod manager.

Installation

Automatic: Use Sectus's mod manager.

Manual: Navigate to your Resident Evil 5 installation directory ("C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Resident Evil 5" by default for Steam users) and plop the extracted folder in there. Overwrite where necessary.

Oh, and please make a backup of the original files which this mod overwrites!

Bugs
During the opening cutscene, there are blood effects present on Jill's chest
There is an aberration between Jill's neck and chest
Black streak on her fringe

There is one bug that's still present. You'll see it during the opening cutscene. There was another bug that caused the DE Jill's head to overlap with the Mercs chest, but I managed to fix that one.

As much as I liked DE Jill for having the device scars on her chest I always felt they ruined her Battlesuit look, I've not been on this forum in a while so I've only just saw this xD

Yep. That's entirely possible. I'll see about getting that done by the end of the week. I'm chalk full of work at the moment so I'm left with very little spare time to work on things like this.
