Hullo, everyone. I'm Erik of Square Crank, a new team developing a game in the classic survival horror style, a game called Road Fever. I'm looking for people that would like to help. It's essentially the classic Resident Evil model set in Victorian Ireland, with a couple of new ideas as if the direction of the series hadn't changed so dramatically after 2002, but rather continued to innovate on the earlier concepts. We're quite a bit further than this but here's an early video to give you an idea: And here's the save room music: What do we need? 1. Programmers. Most of all, we need a programmer or two. One has recently left us, and another is finding life to be picking up the pace too much the be the lead programmer, though he's still with us. 2. Modellers, texturers, riggers, animators. We have these roles filled but the more people we have the lighter the workload on them. I'm doing all sound and music for the game. I've the macro design of the game planned, and much of the smaller detail, including the majority of the story. Some of it isn't finalised because our resources are constantly changing, so I want to work towards the most important things first, and make refinements when we know where we stand. Everyone is working on a royalty basis at the moment. I'd rather people join the team for personal fulfilment rather than money, but yes, once the game is finished there will be some money in it. Another option is crowd-funding but we're not yet certain we want to go that route. Thanks for reading. Here's a zombie: tinypic.com/view.php?pic=21evyoj&s=8#.VVzqN0b6xZgP.S. I apologise if this was the wrong place for this, just tell me please what to do to fix it. Thanks.

Thanks, everyone. Is there a better place to post this? Not trying to spam anyone, either. Just have some dreams to fulfil is all. Cheers.

I moved this thread to "Video Game Chatter" as I feel it is more suited to that section.

Hi, Naza. Thanks, Samus. I wasn't sure where to put it but I did have a feeling it didn't quite go where I had it. Cheers.

looks like an interesting and promissing project, good luck! from experience i know a bit of unreal 4 and that it can be tricky to work with. unfortunately as a student i'm really busy with college so i won't be able to give you any assistance on the project. but i wish you and the people helping you good luck you seem to already have some cool stuff up and running

Thanks, Kittius. UE4's been great so far, but there's a lot that we've not even begun to attempt as yet, so who knows. If you know anyone else either personally or on this forum that seems a candidate to be interested I'd be grateful to have a talk with them.
