After picking this game up I've had blast playing it, however I am DS3 user and use Dualshock controllers,
sadly there's no PS3 layout on Revelations 2 so I went about searching for a mod, as I did expect to find one at this point.
Amazed as I where not finding anything I considered requesting a mod, but realize how pointless it would be to ask someone else to make a mod for me.
So I went about making the mod on my own, regardless of my non-existent experience with modding. But after hours of research, browsing the forum and butt load of frustration figuring where the textures are and such, I present a PS3 Button layout for Resident Evil Revelations 2!
Resident Evil: Revelations 2 - PS3 Button Layout mod!
Mostly what I've done is just replaced the Xbox part of the PC layout with the PS3 Counterpart, which has been extracted from PS3 version.
This worked for some of the textures, while the on-screen action prompts such as pickups, Melee and such had to be heavily modified and pretty much remade from scratch, since the PS3 Counterpart was half the resolution of what the PC version uses and up-scaling it would look very bad.
Regardless this is the very crude, but working mod I've done. I'm pretty happy with the result and might tinker some more with the color scheme as it's slightly off, especially for the smaller buttons such as shown on the controller screen.. But it works!
I also feel compelled to mention that to make this mod work, all you need to do is replace the Core.arc and that is just two textures.
But I found two more textures just like the ones in the Core.arc file inside nativePCNext, so I've included them as optional files as I have no idea what they are used for, but added just in-case they are needed for some parts in the game.

{Here are a list of the files modified.}
- Main Mod
- Core.Arc (You only have to open this file if you install it manually, use my "Standalone" arc file and you won't need to bother with that)
- ui_N
- 00_font
- pad_win_00_ID_HQ.tex
- 20_tex
- act_btn_win_ID_HQ.tex
- Optional files (Optional because they are not needed, as far as I know, but if some icons don't appear it's because of these)
- nativePCNext
- ui_N
- 00_font
- pad_win_00_ID_HQ.tex
- 20_tex
- act_btn_win_ID_HQ.tex
