Good evening. I have been gossiping about how to extract RE: Survivor models, but I'm stuck. Once open the image of the disc, there are multiple files, .str and .bin, I think that .bin are the ones that have got the models so, I have been using multiples tools from this web: remer.bplaced.com/remer_files/res_index.php But I couldn't take the models yet. (PLD, EMD, I don't know, :S ). I could extract textures, (With that Yu Ri tool and other ones also archieved it), but no with the models. I though in try to ask in the forum z4.invisionfree.com/Resident_Evil_1_2_3/index.php?act=idx , but I found that they don't allow registering at the moment, so I couldn't ask there. I also tried to use the ninja ripper, but it doesn't extract me the geometry of the level. Do you know how to obtain the models (I'm specially intereste in environments) of Resident Evil Survivor (Also called Resident Evil Gun Survivor and Biohazard Gun Survivor).

Well on PC version the models are in .HMD format i think textures were in .bmp format but i dint recall any tool for rip the models but i remember that 3Dripper works fine in that game but of course didn't work on new systems such as windows 7 and new ones. Oh by the way you better ask some help here: re123.bplaced.net/board/index.phpThe other forum you mention its totally dead by now =/

Yes I have registered in the forum, now I just need to wait for anyone aprove my solicitude before I can post.
About the PC version, I didn't though on it, (I think it was only in Japanesse) but maybe with it I could use the rippers. Well, tomorrow I don't work so I'll go on with it.

if you can post some pld and emd files i can have a look at it , if i remind they are packed dat files like gamecube version of remake, first they need to be unpacked. also psx models are quite low poly you know ...

I couldn't extract the PLD nor EMD, I though they were in the .bin files because they used to have bigger weight, there are also some .dat files, but I neither managed to open it. I remember that in RE: Remake there were .dat files so with the Soroosh's tools I could open them, but they didn't worked for RE: Survivor .dats. Here I left a couple of files from the RE:Survivor PSX version: - "OBJ.dat" = www.dropbox.com/s/7eeoooefaqyghth/OBJ.rar?dl=0- "STGBG2.BIN" and "STGBGD.BIN" = www.dropbox.com/s/fcu88rogj7jp2k6/STGBG.rar?dl=0I choosed those for for their weights, I don't know what are exactly inside of them. About thei quality, is quite low indeed. I was interested in used them as base for a recreation, I though it could be easier re-work the rooms over an already made structure, but as I couldn't, what I did was extract the maps of the game (with the "MultiRip" tool) and use them to make the base for the scale.

Well I'm not sure in what become at the end: ¿environment for comics and fan arts? ¿mini web-adventure game with an "escape room" style? ¿remake style 3rd person shooter?. Whatever the decission, it will take its time for sure XD.
Anyway, I'm more focussed in my Piers Assignment re-writting the movement code for 3rd time @_@, but time by time I go changing to vary a bit and about RE: Survivor, if I do at least 1 or 2 new rooms per week, I imagine that with the time I will go having something.

that would be amazing ;D PS: you can also use lots of enemies from the previous games so it wont take you to much time for anims and remaking zombies XD just use the ones from Umbrella chronicles and Dark side ones too :3 Yeah, RE:DSC and RE:UC has helped me a lot, at the moment I only implemented the zombies, they still need some fixes (the embrace attack animations are very bad coordinated >.<) Also I wonder how could change to make that not all of them behave equally. (When there are an horde, they can be such challenging, but also is a bit dull having all the zombies together, it's not something intentional, it's just that as all they follow the same IA, they tend to react equally, maybe it could be better if some of them tried to search the player's flank, to bring some variety or such. O.ò). The other one that I also have to make is the Mr.X for the boss of my Piers Assignment, After that... well, when I'll decide it once I arrive there. At the moment I'm still fixing the player controller which got messed after the Unity 5 upgrade. @_@
