well i have been working for quite a long time now on rewriting the current rehd, rerev,rerev2,re6 script and something really bother me actually :
- i don't see so much model mods posted on all the supported games threads. - i don't understand why modders don't realease more of them. - so why should i work on re5 release of fixed script ?
or maybe i must just make it for private use ?
sorry if i seem rude here but i want your opinion on those matter.

Hi! Nice comment I share your view For resident evil 5 are need modders to share and make mods. I know nothing of import models, but if I will know would bring many.. I have seen many modder work for themselves, do not share.

Actually, there are not many modders who can import models as do you think. Just take into account that each modder has their own preferences for what the game a series they like to work most, so they may not apply to all sections of the forum. In the end, we all have a real life, this is just a hobby for many, so modders can not sit for days and do mods all time. Yes, such as modders like Kernelzilla, George, -IronSoul- release their mods very rare, but their quality meets expectations, I mean, what do they do a terrific import high quality models. Delicates work always takes more time, if you do not want to have a lot of bugs. Therefore, I feel okay with the presence of mods here. Better, let them be here not much, but good ports than will be a lot crappy import and ports mods everywhere.

well you do know not always modding works and yes it is rude since we all have some shit to do at some point like you with your life XD you cant expect modders to mod 24 /7 xD and i still mod but i dont release mods cuz they are nude mods and they are not allowed here XD and if you want more mods well you should ask some of us if you REALLLY want that much mods xD but either way we cant mod everything in those games XD sometimes we just dont want to mod and we dont feel like it you know and like i said 5 billion times now I would like to have your tool with Re5 too since its a bit more fixed and it have nice rigging and im sure with re5 added to it i don't have to store 5 different scripts for it xD so yea Please do add Re5 to your script already XD thank you ^_^

There is more then just those three, ΛLISTΞR is also a VERY good importer, and im sure he would be more then happy to do that mod, and ACTUALLY finish it. Not to mention EvilLord as well, he also has quality mods and them both together dont have that many bugs, and when they do they actually fix them.

CodeMan02FrAre you need some support and feedback? I'm sure you will get it when you will start working on it and release some beta versions for tests. It would be nice, if there was possibility to import/export *.mod files including bones (to change their size, as example), and also stage *.mod files which don't have any bones. Also I'm dreaming about possibility to edit *.SBC files. We are talked about it with you in private messages. But:

You would have to guess that I did not mention all and merely cited for example of some who first came to mind.

1 & 2: I appreciated with your work in the script from this games But i have more interest to port characters in RE5 cuz i like more this RE for modding than another one. 3: the re5 script is almost stable but need some fixes (like to repeat a mesh to avoid some parts of the model disappear) at least u can add more functions like the other script.

Well besides of what Kernelzilla mention (the parts of the model that dissapear) i will mention also the problem of cut scenes that are very unstable and broken in pieces like 25 and 30 so even if you choose a lod that are stable and didnt deform ,crash or make black the meesh still will become invisible and buggy =/
So will be nice to:
-Fully Mod Cut Scenes that can be Stable -Prevent that some parts from body dissapear -Import/Export the same mod file
iam sure other things will be nice to add to like mod the majinis from ingame (i was told that majinis from The mercenaries are the only ones that can be moded).

Honestly I wouldn't say it's quite worth the effort if you don't want to, but if your script version could fix the 'occlusion culling' issues George mentioned (meshes disappearing on screen), then it would definitely be worth doing. Maybe that "Type" value you added among the "LOD, MatID, Group, Display" might be the answer to it?

Im PRETTY PRETTY SURE that the main reason there's not so many mods on those games because there's always the same modders working on them (wich are always busy with their own stuff) and the other people doesnt have any idea of how to rig they just keep retexturing and model swapping default/other modders stuff where before like in re4 there was the "RIG-O-MATIC" tool and everyone could import stuff easily no mather their modeling skills
