Steam's version of the Resident Evil 5 doesn't have background music in the Chapter 4-2. I've fixed it. Installation. 1. Copy "nativePC_MT" folder. 2. Paste it with replacement to your steam Resident Evil 5 folder (SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Resident Evil 5\). Download Chapter 4-2 BGM Fix for Resident Evil 5 Steam

You've been fixing a lot of RE5 recently. How did Capcom possibly manage to screw these things up, I wonder.

It appears that wbacon and the developers were not aware of this bug in the game so it may not be fixed in the upcoming patch. But I made sure that wbacon knows of the bug now

It appears that wbacon and the developers were not aware of this bug in the game so it may not be fixed in the upcoming patch. But I made sure that wbacon knows of the bug now They just simply forgot to put the file, which define the music, inside the stage's *.arc. Also someone already reported about music in the official re5 gold bug thread on the steam forum.
