I was given my version on steam via a gift code. I dont have the xlive.dll in my folders to replace so the patch is not working. I cant swap weapons with my co-op partner. Anbody able to help? hey, i might have misunderstood your problem but the patch includes xlive.dll - what is the problem? www.sb-online.org/maluc/goto?dir=Biohazard%205%2FUnofficial%20Patch%201%20Fixesif your game might be missing original (non-mod) files, try using steam's "verify integrity of game cache" feature to ensure it's all legit, then reinstall the patch.

Thanks for your reply Majiji, seems to be working fine now. For some reason my partner cant pass me his magnum but everything else works great. I figure its maybe a glitch because the weapon has 0 ammo or that we are playing the nightmare mode mod. Cheers.

Looks like the recent RE5 port for PS4/XBOX ONE have a lot of problems too, Capcom said they will release a patch for them, i hope they release a new patch for PC version too, but unfortunately i think it's unlikely...

i found out a possible error for disconnections in VERSUS MODE.. the voice commands(also josh talking on the radio in versus makes me freeze for half second sometimes) are lagging the game, in gfwl is not happening.. that could be the cause of the disconnetions.. is there a way to DISABLE COMPLETELLY THE VOICE COMMANDS? or a way to fix the stuttering when a voice command is played?.. it first freezes then the voice command is played.
is somebody else having the same problem?

try installing it in c.. this is only happening in windows10 users. its freaking annoying to be honest.... any speech in the game. custom or default they are giving this FREEZE sooo damn annoying.
hope capcom give a fix for this and other many things.
but this is the cause that most of the disconnections are happening in versus. Some of them are because of laggy users or slow / far away users. but most of the disconnections are specially when josh radio voice speech is load announcing theres one minute left. i noticed many times. also when any other voice speech is happening but mostly of this. if 2 player freezes in the same match, theres a big chance of getting disconnected.
this was not happening to me in windows 8 or 7... just now that i installed 10.

Hi there i have another bug that happens when you kill the boss in chapter 5-1 the game crashes i tried my best but couldn't find any way to fix it and I cannot finish the game like this please help.
here is my system's INFO
OS windows 10 64 bit.
64GB DDR4 ram.
1TB SSD from samsung.
the motherboard is X99-DELUXE from ASUS.
2 GTX 980 not in SLI.
the game runs butter smooth but this is the first problem I have seen also I bought it on steam.

I still use HDD, though, it is the last century. I got that problem when the game installed on HDD 5400 rpm Windows 10. I moved the game to M.2 NVMe and the problem had gone. Look like only HDD 5400 rpm has problem because I installed also on HDD 7200 rpm and got no random freeze problem.

anyone else having a laggy issue in co-op it was fine a few days ago but the past 2 days 2 minutes into a match and its laggy as hell
