I seen many users asked for something like ENB to remove green/yellow filter/fog. For this purposes I'm using SweetFX instead of ENB, since ENB is an eyes-killer for me. And I decided to share my SweetFX settings. Maybe it will be useful for someone else. Generally, I've tried to keep original image (brightness, lightness, saturation), but make it less stressful for the eyes. Since SweetFX is post processing tool, you can't literally remove green filter. And game will looks terrible without green filter anyway (ENB). So I've just rebalanced colours and made the image less greenish but little bit (little bit) bluish. Also I've added a little bit (just a little bit) more contrast and sharpness. Final look will always depend of the monitor (I'm using 6500K colour temperature). So you can tweak the colours in the #define USE_SEPIA values, if you don't like my values. =) In total: - No shitty super blue image, like on the "SweetFX presets" site; - No shitload of unnecessary "improvements", like on the "SweetFX presets" site; - No eyes-killer super saturated, contrasted, "sunny" retarded ENB-like image; - Just no green and less stressful for the eyes image. SweetFX is working with both GFWL and Steam versions of the RE5. By the way, SweetFX has NO any ISSUES with HUD or black screen.Download SweetFX for Resident Evil 5 SteamInstallation: extract files into the directory with Launcher.exe. As example: SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Resident Evil 5 Shortcuts: ON/OFF = F9 key Make a screenshot = PRINTSCREEN Reload shader files = F10 key More screenshots

Unfortunately, your link is showing 404 page for me. I didn't touch the brightness in the game. It's in default value. And I balanced SweetFX so as to keep original brightness. You will see as much in the darkness, as you have seen without SweetFX. Anyway, if you want to turn down SweetFX saturation, then you can play with VIBRANCE settings or completely turn it off by changing #define USE_VIBRANCE 1 to 0.

Try again. I don't think sweetfx is compatible with it tho (the d3d9.dll that disables the filter), unless it's modded, somehow.

Are you talking about "re5 gold fix.zip"? If so, then of course it's not compatible with SweetFX. This guy said, that this files from the "Helixmod" which I've never heard. =) I found his blog, but there is specific packs for each game. And I didn't find RE5 pack. About game brightness. Decreasing brightness doesn't changing saturation. It's keep it instead. And the game's brightness option affect the picture as it should. Looks like you have mistook brightness with lightness.

Works nicely for Gold Edition (since ENB doesn't), used only the Sweet FX Settings txt file with the most recent Sweet FX (1.5-23364). I'm on windows 8.1.
Cheers.

SweetFX can't crash RE5 itself. At least with this settings. You are probably mixed it with something else.
