Can someone help me out I've been trying to replace audio tracks but it seems that any audio tracks I replace end up not being played at all. I have all my audio tracks set up as 1) Ogg Vorbis format saved as .sngw 2) 48000 hz and I even tried cutting the track to match the length of the default track and still no sound plays at all so if anyone knows what I'm doing wrong I would really appreciate any assistance I've done alot of audio editing in RE5 I pretty much had the whole game playing my music library but I can't get a single bit of custom music working for this game Edit: Never mind I fixed it

Hey, would you mind explaining how you edited the audio. I would love to do it but have no idea how. Thanks

What is the metadata? How should I modify it? I'm totally lost here Are we supposed to use software to do so, or just change some parameters? Thanks in advanced.

I would recommend using Audacity but you can also use other audio editing software. I know that Adobe audition works well too. If you use Audacity then after loading the track you wish to use in your mod you can either click on File then choose edit metadata or just start exporting it and the edit metadata screen will show up after you choose where to save the track

Thanks a lot !! EDIT: sorry to bother you again... The thing is that I've adjusted the level frequency to 48 and changed the bits value to 16. Finally I've managed to hear the song in-game. So thanks a lot. The bad thing is that the audio sounds like it plays in a higher speed than normal. Any tips on that ? thnx...

Try changing the "M" tag to 7F0006B844 or close to that. Try not to randomize it too much. I wasn't clear enough in my description... My bad

I took an original audio track from the game and exported it with audacity. Just open, export to .ogg, and... "voila", the music plays at high speed again. So I'm thinking that the issue might be related to the way audacity does the "export". A window pops up with "The auto tracks will be mixed..." Any ideas here? haha I'm sorry for being so persistent

In Audacity click on "Edit" then in the drop down menu click "Preferences" and then "Import/Export" tick "Use custom mix" Click "OK" and you should be good

Hello, i don't understand where to find about LoopEnd "number", where do i see the correct one for my track, and in fact i don't understand anything in metas except LoopStart is the start of the audio (that is applied to the video, each in their respective folder, i know) so i let it at 0. I try to make the Deaplearning PSX intro (found on Moddb) working, for video part i will have to make a VC1 WMV (i have it in Lagarith 6:9 with black borders, just need recode). Thanks.
