Not to hijack the thread but any idea how to import the models into 3ds Max? I downloaded the 3ds Max plugin in the tools section but it asks for .mod files, there are no .mod files when you extract an .arc file so how do you import the models into a 3D application?

There should be.. I noticed one in the folder at the top (above all the DSS,TEX files)

You're probably extracting the wrong .arc files, or you're extracting them with the wrong .bat file... it should be pc-rev-extract.bat or something like that...

No I had the correct file only it's my mistake for not seeing it. For some reason .mod files show up as movie clip files and it wasn't showing the file extensions, but it's there.

Please help me, I have a problem, I extract the textures from the RE HD, and the RE0 HD Xbox 360 without problems, however, when I reimport, even without being edited, those with _MM.TEX, are buggy, that in the Xbox 360 version, they extract in .TGA, and are reimported without problems, with the exception of those with _MM.TGA, when they are reimported, they bug, break, and when you put them in the game, it gets buggy, or it extracts again it gets buggy, even if it doesn't edit them, extract them and reimport them, they bug, break, blur, I don't know what to do, .TXT file of them, when extracted are as follows:
TEX
Format = DXT5A
Mips = 8
Textype = 25
The sizes vary for each texture, how can I solve this problem? Can someone help me?
I'm just having problems with this type !, the others are normal, can someone help me?

Can someone upload the extracted Tiger Spider Boss from RE HD with the textures and bones in .FBX ? I can't seem to open it correctly in 3ds max. Please help!

Hmmm.. OK so after many years I've come back and decided to carry on making more mods. However - I seem to have deleted the tools used to make them (durr)
I downloaded ARCTool - which IIRC converts most RE games - dragged the pl file into it - but now it won't do anything. Claims to be set for RE6 and that this is a PC pl file - it doesn't dump all the files like it should do.
EDIT: Downloaded some .bat files and they seemed to fix things. Its dumped the correct files alomg with DDS. Now if only I can remember how to repack them into the arc for the game..

I believe: drag .arc to .bat, .bat creates file or folder, edit file or folder, then drag file or folder back onto .bat, .bat creates a new .arc.
