Hi everyone,I am new n this forum and did some modding in re5 and want to go deeper in this. Now i want to create a new Josh by putting Josh evf4010.mod head and eyes evf4013.mod on the em9e00.mod (bodyguard,has no head) body,same thing like giving exella her head by Aman. I have aman's bodymerge tool and try to put the head on the body with dos commands in modtool as a stand alone tool but it didnt work out. so now I've downloaded 3ds max 2012 and mallawij 's mod tool and tristrip,i guess that will do the job wright?
I realy hope someone can help me out with this,I am kinda new in this and watched some youtubes about re5 modding but need some help with it.
first quest,anyone had succes with bodymerge tool? and how did you do it? second quest,wich is the import script and where do i have to put the import script in 3dsmax?
and from here,can someone give me some advice on wich steps i have to take,will be much apriciated?

I've been playing around a little with 3dsmax and figured some things out and got my model imported in 3dsmax,so i"m a couple of steps further so I'm gonna take it to the W.I.P topic.

firstb step made,just see if the pic shows up woahhhh now just make his skin darker and itll be perfect!

yeah i know,i'll adjust the skintones later,first i have find the right way to attach the head on the body. I tried several ways but when i save it to body.mod then nothing has changed! anyone have some suggestions? are you using the re5Tistrip to conver the .newmod file into a normal .mod file

Yes i did drag the .newmod into re5tristrip but the .mod comes out exactly the same as i had before importing! Ok,for example,in 3dsmax i delete abodypart from the scene and export it to .newmod put it in tristrip and guess what,the hand still shows up,hahaa!

Are you changing the lod of the unused body parts to lod 0? and if so make sure you also make the new model a lod 255.

Oke,I changed the lodx255 in lodx0 and scaled down the selected object and it did the job! Thank you for the tip !
