I hope it can be changed. I will hasten to disappoint you. I've quickly checked mercenaries files and I can say for 95%, that it's somewhere in re5.exe, so I can't do anything with it. No hopes. Just hardcore. (Z) Aww. Well i wish that maluc and others were here to assist modifying RE5 to do that.

In my opinion, this regen before die system is kinda cheat. We just need to use heal items before being killed, as in normal games. And PRO mode is a PRO mode. If I could, I would prefer to remove dying condition at all. So it could be just a little bit more health on easy-veteran difficulty and still 1 hit = die on PRO difficulty.

Kinda report-teaser for those of you, who are waiting for some news. Sorry for the music. Forgot to turn it off before record video. Just mute the video if you don't like it, there is nothing to listen anyway. =) Level re-modeling needed to replace broken ladders meshes. But unfortunately *.mod import/export script are not compatible with stage *.mod files.  I'll try to ask aman, maybe he will have some free time and will try to modify the script for stage *.mod files.

Chapters 1-1 and 1-2 demo video. Not showing adapted cutscenes in this video. And damn youtube have killed video quality again. 27.04.2015{Spoiler}Chapters 1-1 and 1-2 done.
- No co-op doors inside or at the end of the stages. They are removed or replaced with regular doors.
- Simple button for going to the next stage: open, up, down etc, - like in RE4. No partner needed.
- Added "Ready" button in the "Chapter 1-1: Back Alley", where you need to grab weapon from the case. Now you need to push this button when you will be ready. Don't necessary to have any weapon or other items.
- Removed "Assist Jump" actions in the "Chapter 1-2: Public Urban District". There will be ladders instead.
After long-time yeblya with game files through hex-editor without any coding knowledges and RE5 scripting commands, I've managed to build some very simple scripts and triggers for them. No more co-op doors for going to the next stage. Just push the button and you will be there. Like in RE4.
