Is it possible to rig alternate models to work properly in the cutscenes so that modded characters such as Leon would move their mouths during cutscenes possible or are we stuck with static heads for mods that don't use the vanilla character heads?

Hello! hope you are doing well,
They should be editable, i did some research on that game a few years ago and it's totally moddeable, the only issues are:
Static/Pre-posed hands, so modding a new character with different hands is tedious AF. Static face during regular gameplay (No blinking at all since this is originally controlled by shape keys, something we don't have the ability to edit yet unfortunately) Need to rig the model twice / alternatively, you can rename the bones and mesh names to match (using 3ds max) or, use blender with the auto renamer tool to do the same stuff you need but in blender hehe
