So I've started working on a custom mod for RE5 replacing one of the characters for new one, but I cannot get past this problem. I have been frozen on voiceline not playing at all and now it does play, but cuts off quickly. I have rewrote the original values from the original STQ to the modded STQ assigned to original voice file but that one cuts off as well, which makes no sense to me, because thats the original file from the game. So I think I managed to make it work, but not fully, it just cuts off right after playing... its like "I ne-" (modded) "G-" (barry's og line "Go"). What confused me even more is that even the original voice lines is getting cut off. I have not found clear solution to this so I'm returning here, to the PROs. If anyone has any idea, please let me know, as I wish to make it work and share in near future

This makes it 100x more confusing to me

To create custom voices lines, you don't have to edit the stq file (except if you want to change file path i guess). Create your file with the correct format and simple rate. Then, Just give to your custom file a lenght equal or superior(This is what i personnaly do) to the voices files you wanna replace.

PS: could u rather tell me how you do it, so i can see if im doing it correctly

update: just managed to get "i need ammo" fully to play, but for some reason OG "Go" "Come On" is cut off, i'll see if its still issue after I replace it, btw. used the "longer than" method for "i need ammo" seems to be working well update: more lines are working now looks like its gonna be successfully finished soon
