Is possible it were inside of the proper model?
I'm not sure cause I'm starting to gossip these RE4 HD files now, but for example, inside of the pl00 (Leon with the jacket), there is a full head, and another head too, separated in pieces (the hair, the bald and the face), I think they share the same number of vertices, but ¿could be that separate face? part of a cinematic head? That during gameplay it used the Full head, and in cinematic, it uses the separate head, which higher bones number for face and hair?
I know, I'm speculating, but I'm also intereting on find the head with the best quality as possible. O.ò

The acheadpiersasia.arc include 3 separate .mod files, which contain the head, eyes and hair separately. Have you been able to swap head for cutscence?
