So i'm new in that mod thing, i'm trying to make a custom skin for a re6 assaut rifle, but when i was trying i get lost in the design so i repack to see how it was doing in the game, but when i open the game the texture is totally diferent from i have done, i'm so sorry about my english i hope you guys forgive me for that, and hope someone help-me in this. here is a pic who i did: imgbb.com/7zCY6Zzhere is how it is looking in the game: ibb.co/WHsQRZ5

oh look, that happened to you because the texture was damaged when you did the repack, what you have to do here is put it in DX1 format from the paint.net program
In this way your texture will look normal and will not have damage, but remember that each texture is different and some will require another format to avoid being damaged, but normally the textures of the weapons are always saved with that type of format without being damaged. I hope it helps you 😉

thank you <3, but how i do this? i'm using photoshop. it is better to install the Paint.net program
because photoshop only lets you, so to speak, edit your texture but to save it and replace it, paint.net is better because it gives you the format you need
