Here is a new sound replacement mod in the spirit of my old RE4 one to replace the rather bad default sounds :
Below are a couple of videos to show some of the new sounds in action:
Note that I haven't replaced magnum sounds. I don't really have adequate alternatives and the originals already sound decently, at least in comparison to everything else that is.
Installation instructions are within the zip file.

Good mod You could also change the sounds of the samurai edge wesker and barry ? I don't know if those weapons really exist and they will have a better sound

I was looking for a mod like that. I don't like the unrealistic sounds of RE5 either. This is great for me. Thanks for sharing !

Thank you so much I just dubbed my game to Persian and was about to play and realized the gun sounds are pathetic
this is absolutely necessary.
