Your tool seems good but it cant extract afs from iso, so in order someone want to extract afs they need to extract afs first using afs explorer 3.7 then they can extract it
I suggest you to improve the tool, adding command to extract from iso & could inject specific file back to afs
Or maybe you could add the one thing afs explorer didnt have, which is reserved space for specific file. Because in afs explorer we cant use seacrh box and we have to scroll down until we found the file and its really boring sometime

Hi, the best way to reinsert the afs in the iso is creating a new iso, I've developed a tool to rebuild the PS2 iso and I think that I'll post it here in a new Topic. You can extract the afs from iso and reinsert using this tool soon later. When you dump the files from afs using my tool, all files are dumped inside folders, so to replace an original file with a large file, just find the original file inside folders and replace it with the large file, really the afs explorer is very bad to make this. After you replace the file, just rebuild the afs using the proper command and insert the new afs in the iso. I will post my tool to insert files in a PS2 iso here in a new topic.

When you say "all files are dumped inside folder" You mean they were extracted too? Like pl00.dat etc every each files?
And what about limit file issue? Cuz in afs explore its really pain in the @ss

I want to say that are dumped all the files from the afs, but the dat files are only dumped from the afs, but the internal content of dat files are not dumped, because the dat is other files archive, you must use a tool to dump the internal content from the dat files. In the SS folder there are many dat files and others formats, and inside of dat files there are others files, basically, all are archives, the afs is an archive, the dat is another archive and so on, each archive requires a dedicated tool to handle it.

I don't know if u still working on this project or not but im already trying your tool it does can extract but when i repack it. The tool unable to find or access the main files directory. Translated with Google translate * Extraction: - the file (9) "re4.iso" is the original ISO, open (5) "PS2 ISO Rebuilder.exe", type "e", then type "re4", it will create the file (3) "re4.ISO -FILELIST-LSN.TXT" and the folder (2) "@re4.ISO". - copy the file (6) "BIO4DAT.AFS" from the '@re4.ISO\DATA' folder to the main folder, this file is always the original one, open (4) "RE4 PS2 - AFS Tool.exe", type "e", then type "BIO4DAT", will create the folder (1) "@BIO4DAT" Note: the original files (9) "re4.iso" and (6) "BIO4DAT.AFS", are mandatory for the programs to work. * modification: - modify the files you want in the folder (1) "@BIO4DAT". - I still don't know how to put files with names different from the originals. * recompilation: - open (4) "RE4 PS2 - AFS Tool.exe", type "r", type "BIO4DAT", will create the file (7) "NEW_bio4dat.afs", move this file to "@re4.ISO\DATA", - delete the file "@re4.ISO\DATA\BIO4DAT.afs", rename the file "@re4.ISO\DATA\NEW_bio4dat.afs" to "@re4.ISO\DATA\BIO4DAT.afs" - open (5) "PS2 ISO Rebuilder.exe", type "r", then type "re4", it will create the file (8) "NEW_re4.ISO". - the file (8) "NEW_re4.ISO" is your final ISO with the modified files. * Extração:
- o arquivo (9) "re4.iso" é a ISO original, abra (5) "PS2 ISO Rebuilder.exe", digite "e", depois digite "re4", ira criar o arquivo (3) "re4.ISO-FILELIST-LSN.TXT" e a pasta (2) "@re4.ISO".
* modificação: - modifique os arquivos que você quiser na pasta (1) "@BIO4DAT". - ainda não sei como colocar arquivos com nomes diferente dos originais.
* recompilação:

Could u sent me the txt file? Follow file: ISO-FILELIST-LSN TXT.zipISO name should be "re4.iso" In the zip file there are two folders, use the txt of your game version {In Portuguese} o nome da ISO deve ser "re4.iso" No arquivo zip tem duas pasta, use o txt da sua versão do jogo
