Hi, I'm having an issue with repacking bin files using Son of Persia's 2018 tools. When I run BIN_Repack.bat, the 3 output files come out empty. What is happening? Also, all the filenames had "_0_" inserted between the usual numbers when I extracted the original files, idk if that has anything to do with this.

Its likely that there is a vertice that is not assigned a bone weight. Double check to ensure that ALL vertices have a bone assigned to them.

Turns out I'm really dumb and forgot to rig the models... Also finding out that this part is way more of a pain in the ass than the other steps, since some parts of the model either move with an unrelated bone, or just won't move at all... and there are so many bones to check. aaaaaahhh!!!

Ok, so... the amount of bones are pretty overwhelming. I'm not sure if I'm doing things right at all... I've looked through threads but none of them really talk about how to rig a model properly. What I have been doing is: 1. Import .smd file of original model (Leon) into blender 2. Import .smd file of custom model - in this case Hunk from the same game (just want to avoid using a model swapper) 3. Delete skeleton of Hunk and model of Leon, and parent Leon's skeleton to Hunk's model (with automatic weights) 4. Look at individual bones, see that almost all of them have weights added to weird parts, cry <---(currently here)
Is there a tutorial specific to modding RE4 that covers this part of the process? Or is rigging just basic knowledge that I simply don't have? Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm just really stumped. If the process is smoother in milkshape, I might try it out.

Update: I think I figured it out. Didn't know about the Rig-O-matic tool until now.
